I just watched an episode from season 6, and I noticed this awful mistake concerning George, the adopted kid. He was telling Mary about his mother, and how she kept changing boyfriends after she split up with George's father. According to the episode in season 1 in which the whole George thing got started, he has a complete different story. His mother was said to be dead, and he was sent to adoption after his dad had to leave the country for some reason. Don't the writers ever watch previous shows so that they can rely on them for the writing of the current ones??

well the writers in season 6 may have not been the same writers in season 1 and most of the other crew doesnt tend to pay attention to these details, but your right ive been watching 7th H since the beginning and his father played by greatest american heros william katt was living somewhere els because he put a major crime lord in jail and had to flee for his life and hide under another name but when the drug lord died georges dad came back to claim his son but his mother was dead. i think its contradictions like this that killed star trek because they were notorius for contradicting themselves.

Yeah, well... while it's perfectly ok to change writers, I think the new ones should know about the show they're writing episodes for... otherwise it's just one big mess.
