Time to get a new vcr or a dvd recorder with your extra money! Nothing much has been going on. Tia and Robert are back togther and Dirk and his wife act like they don't like each other any more. But that comes and goes. Debbie Allen was on there playing Niecy's mother and she was funny as usual!! Last week some white dude tried to punk Robert because hedidn't like the way Robert was coaching the children's basketball team. In the end Robert tried to take Tia's 'high road' advice and as usual it failed so Robert went ghetto and put him in check, the end!

Does anyone think this show has what it takes to last another couple of seasons? I haven't seen much of it- i think maybe only 3 episodes and I wasn't giving them my whole attention... this show seems kind of unremarkable to me- yet at this rate I think it's Duane Martin's longest running series, and the thing about UPN's sitcoms is that unless the show is pulling horrible ratings they'll keep it on for the entire season. Duane Martin is a tad dull as a leading man- not unpleasant but not very charismatic or compelling. Same thing with the woman who plays Tia who used to be in the Hughleys. LisaRaye has a banging physique and all, but is that enough to carry a series?

I don't think this shows has what it takes to last another season. I wouldn't be surprised if this show goes on hiatus. I think the only thing that it truly has going for it is the little boy. He is just too adorable.

JamesAnthony you're right about everything you said regarding Duane, Elise, LisaRaye. None of them have what it takes to be a star on a tv show. The only thing going for LisaRaye is her looks & her body. That's the only reason somebody gave her a chance to be a actor. She's ok for a actress but she's not great. She finally showed some versatility in the movie Civil Brand which i think she did a good job in. She wasn't wearing any makeup in that movie. Felicitylen that little boy is adorable.

I was surprised that it made season two. As far as Duane Martin, didn't that first show he appeared in with Morris Chestnut do at least two seasons? The second show he was in with Vivica Fox and Jon Cryer wasn't that bad. The problem was that it was on FOX, the station that has a VERY sharp axe!

This past Tuesday's episode was nice. LisaRaye & Duane's son is so adorable. He cracked me up when he had a dream that Twista was rappin his Overnight Celebrity song to him & he was dancing. I thought it was unrealistic for Duane to buy his son a Twista cd when the boy is only 4-5 years old. He shouldn't be buying him a cd with cuss words on it.

I thought that was odd myself! I don't listen to rap but I was pretty sure Twista wasn't G rated! That's what confused me!

KingConan what's been happening lately? I haven't watched it since the christmas episode. I saw LisaRaye on BET's Coming To The Stage last week as a celebrity judge.

Last night's episode had Mase in it as a friend in church. His testimonial prompted Robert and Tia to get engaged so I guess this means that they'll have a big wedding episode next month. I never followed Mase's music, though I read his autobiographical book. He's better off being in the church than in entertainment, his presence in this episode was unusual, like he never acted before which I don't think he has. I haven't watched series this much so I can't tell if Chris Rock's brother and Terri Vaughn are already married or just going together

Mase is better off as a preacher cause he sucks as a rapper. His latest cd Welcome Back hasn't sold well at all. I think Tony Rock & Terri Vaughn broke up. JamesAnthony what's your opinion on the white dude who plays on the show? I don't like his character at all cause he always says somethin corny. He doesn't fit in with the show at all. LOL@his name is Turtle hahahahahaha. What kinda name is that for a character?

I haven't watched this series much so I don't know the white male character. There is a white woman who is Neicy's friend who I remember, she looks very severe with arched eyebrows like a brunette version of the girl from the Roger Rabbit cartoons. What it is is that I think there is a kind of edict that these African American shows have to have a token white character in them because the networks are promoting integration. It's basically the inversion of what happened in the late 60s when blacks began showing up as the best friends or co-workers in otherwise all white shows.

The white lady that you're talkin about that works at the school with Terri & Elise Neal is in the picture up above & they don't show her anymore. I saw her on the first episode when the show first debuted & they haven't shown her since.

No it's a different woman. She has arched eyebrows and her son plays with Bobby and is half black.
