Default Pending Idea-- Sitcomsonline Merchandise

Hey, guys.

Welp, I'm officially a couple hundred dollars short of a digi cam, LOL... So, I was thinking of raising some funds- perhaps through here. No, I'm not asking for mere donations, but... How do Sitcomsonline bracelets sound to you guys? For both men and women, of course.

I was thinking of something light blue and white- like this site's theme, and then the letters "SO" incoporated into it. (Or maybe no letters? Your choice.) - ranging from 6.75 - 8 inches.

I don't know, I guess you can wear them as SO-Pride. Or maybe... one day, you will meet someone wearing that same bracelet and then go, "Hey! You're from SO??? ME TOO! ." (Hey, it could happen!)

So, I'm wondering, how many of you would be interested in purchasing them IF I were to start selling them? (Please take the poll, also). I'm thinking for starters- $12 [edited] (I know you're all gasping now, LOL.) But these DO take a long time to make... and I DO have to purchase the beads before anything else...and I vow to hand-pick all and only the best beads out there. (From uptown Manhattan). Not some cheap stuff from the 99 Cents store, LOL. Moreover, TJ has agreed to allow me to donate a portion of my profits to The American Red Cross (or some other charity effort) for every bracelet sold... since I will be using SO's name/theme.

So yeah... any ideas as to how this should look? Design ideas? For both sexes?

Tell me this isn't a crazy idea?

Thanks in advance, everyone, and TJ, also for granting me permission to do this.

-Jen

I like that idea! Barwars should get one, so if we happen to run into each other at a mall or something, we can scream like little girls.

I wouldn't want a bracelet, but I would like something with Sitcoms Online on it. A refrigerator magnet, mouse pad, pencil cup....something for my computer desk. What I really would love is a SO mug. I have mugs from all the plays I've seen, Red Sox, and my *politics* mug. I have a mug from FreeRepublic.com and it's personalized with my name on it.

A Christmas tree ornament or decoration might be a good idea.

I don't know if this helps you any Jen. I know jewelry is your art, but if you could expand it to other things, I most certainly would buy something. I'd love to help you out, and I like donating to charity.

Wow, Janice!! You've made some pretty good suggestions! TJ mentioned the mugs, too. Okay, so we have:

magnet
mouse pad
pencil cup

But, see, all of the above- I have to be dependent on another source, such as Kinkos or something, and I sort of don't want that. I would like to depend on myself.

Christmas ornament (very good idea!) But... any takers?

How about..... t-shirts???

See, I don't want my friends and family to know I post at a place called "Sitcoms Online." This is kind of my secret hideout, so for me, advertising it is out of the question.

This reminds me of Nate's post when he wanted us to donate $2500 to him for that plane ticket to England.

How about a pair of underwear with Sitcoms Online written on the back? Nobody, well family anyway, will see it. I wouldn't recommend the lettering done in beads though.

And this is my secret hideout too. Only my husband knows about it.

But what would I do with my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles underwear?
