Default No More "Best of" on the DVD Extras!

I think the worst part of the Extras on each DVD has been "The Best of..." (each cast member)

Because it ruins the episodes! I haven't watch any of them because if I want to watch the funny parts I'll just watch it in context.

I think it is a waste of space on the dvd...

They should put more Bloopers, Behind The Scenes Footage & New Interviews.

I'd love more behind the scenes stuff.. that was the best part of the dvd's. When the cast came out and said hi to the audience & when John was messing around with the camera.. SHOW 100% MORE of this kinda stuff.

More & Longer Interviews with The Cast/Crew/Writers/etc..

* Get More Commentary Tracks!

Pav if they still listen to you once and while let them know

thanks

I totally agree AT!!! There is no point for the best of!!! I think they should DEF. have more bloopers or they should put together interviews from the 70's and 80's from the cast members!!! Like them talking about the show and stuff like that!!!! I would prefer bloopers but interviews from back then would be awsome too!!

ya i agree too if we wanted to see that part of the episode we could just watch the episode. i want to see behind the scenes stuff and more interviews would be nice. Plus there has to be more than just 12 minutes of bloopers out there.

I agree. Everytime I held one of the DVDs in my hands and saw the index I was like why on earth put best ofs on that DVD and waste space where we could have much better things on it like more bloopers, I would love to see more bloopers or Three's Company stuff like interviews, things that aired at that time like the promo things they had on the season 3 DVD, that I liked. If you want to see funny scenes you can go watch that episode no need to repeat every one of them in the best of sections.

Anyone wants to forward this request, this thread or so to the studios? Maybe that would change their mind if they don't have a fixed set of things to put on the DVDs that is.

Also the commentaries I don't really need, not that they are bad, better than the best ofs but still..no...

Yes MORE Bloopers!!

OR

Why not just raw footage.. anything behind the scenes.. dont even edit it.. if they have a read through of a script OR if they are setting up shots OR if the cast is just sitting around waiting to shoot.

anything behind the scenes! I'd love to watch hours of this! If it is boring to some, then watch some of it... or none of it.

But I bet "The Best Of" section 90% of the people who bought the dvd's never watch that section.. after season 1. sure I watched season 1's Best of.. just to see what it is. But since then I havent even glanced at that section now.

Bloopers & Raw Footage instead.

WHY to all the fans know what to do more then the paid people. Doesn't it seem that way for all dvd's.. WHY dont these people go on the message boards and read our ideas.

I like that idea. They did that with the Freaks and Geeks dvd and they also had i think 2 or 3 table readings of just the cast going over the script. There was also just like 5-10 behind the scenes stuff of the actors just being themselves and goofing around. They should do something like that for the three's company dvds.

Yeah I think Freaks & Geeks is the Blueprint to ALL TV Show DVD's!!!

I think all shows should watch that package and see the love the creators put into their dvd extras for their fans..

I just love those dvd's! I HOPE someone can get to the Three's Company Creators and tell them what us fans want & for them to watch the Freaks & Geeks dvd.

* I think that the last season should have the MOST Extras for Three's Company! because I think sure WE ALL will buy it. But some might not because the show was on the downside.

BUT if they put a FULL 10 Hour Extra Disk on the Last Season of Three's Company. I think you would get everyone buying it!!

** Then after ALL the season of Three's Company is out.. put out a Three's A Crowd DVD Complete Season & The Ropers DVD Complete Season.

I also hope they put out the Ropers !!! I will def. buy that one!! I would NOT buy TAC!!! But I am sure other fans wil!!!

I too would love to see the bloopers extended, but as I understand it, we're lucky to be getting what we're getting. These bloopers haven't been viewed since the show aired in prime time and typically when such extras are added, it costs the DVD company more man power which costs more money. We're fortunate to be getting everything at such a decent price. Also, a LOT of the bloopers involved some raunchiness, and a lot of it has to be pruned to see what's appropriate for the general public to view. That takes time alas.

In closing, I don't think the inclusion of the 'Best of' features is what's responsible for the short bloopers. I think the bloopers are the length that they are because it's what they intend to put out, plain and simple. I think opting to take away the 'Best of' features would only mean in pairing down the extras period, and nobody wants that. Sure, the feature may seem pointless, but I like them in a way. I always check out the fourth disc first and view the extras before sampling the episodes, and those features make for a nice preview of what's to come. I realize it's not that way for the rest of you, but if so many of you dislike it so much, then simply don't watch it.
