Well one day I went on a trip to Spain
And I took a tour through the pouring rain
I stopped by a fruit stand
and thought maybe there would be an orange in this land
As I was about to make my purchase I heard a call
The cashier asked me will that be all
I said yes then took off for Portugal
I went to a fruit stand wearing my business suit
And ordered my favorite fruit

In Spain I orderered an anaranjado

Oh how I loved the fruit
The color seemed to go well with my business suit

Later in the week I thought of going to France
I thought what if they don't have my favorite fruit
I can't take that chance
I ate up every orange I could take
I told the clerk at the store I was concerned about a scurvey outbreak

He looked at me as if I jad gone insane
Then he told me a story of his crazy cousin named Wayne
Standing at a fruit stand wearing my business suit

Yeah, I know I sound like the Beatles. I'm influenced by their music. Most of my songs sound like the Beatles, some other songs I've written, but haven't posted: one sounds like Selena, some sound like Ashlee Simpson, one song sounds like Joan Jett, one sounds like Robyn, two others sound like the Big Bopper, another one sounds like Savage Garden and another one sounds like Buddy Holly.

I'm a real freak of nature.

I guess I write the way I do because of my musical influences.

Here's one song I wrote when my cat was losing a lot of weight and I was concerned that she would die of starvation, so I was trying to feed her whenever she seemed hungry. She's in her teens now so the song is like a reflection on how she may be on her last years.
