Cool Scrubs mentions Wings! (again)

I was watching Scrubs last night and Matthew Perry and his father were both on it. At one point, Matthew Perry's character, who worked as an air-traffic controller, was watching Wings and saying it was a show that really got it right. They also showed a scene of Wings on the TV he was watching. Scrubs is another show that doesn't get much respect.

Another time Wings was mentioned on Scrubs was back in the first season when Dr. Cox said he was just watching an episode and Antonio always made him laugh.

That's so awesome! I will have to watch it when it re-airs. Do you know what the title of the episode was?

Can someone ID the clip of Wings in the episode? What episode of Wings was in the episode of Scrubs (Now that sounds funny!)?
I know it probably doesn't feature Lowell, so I won't get too excited.

Yeah I noticed that too! It was the episode where Joe finds the matchbook in his jacket pocket and calls the number. I knew I recognized it! (Because they were talking on speaker-phone.) I checked my tapes to see what the title was and it is Episode #041: "Divorce, American Style". (oh, and it does have Lowell in it! )

Please release it on DVD...
Roy: "I feel like we're living in that Hitchcock movie."
Lowell: "You mean birds are gonna come peck our eyes out?!"
Helen: "I think the movie Roy's talking about is 'Lifeboat.'"
Lowell: "Oh, right. What's that one about?"

I said I wouldn't get excited because on 'Scrubs' the scene they show probably doesn't have Lowell in it.

Scrubs is one of my favorite shows too. Like Wings, it seems so unappreciated. Maybe this year will be the year it finally gets some Emmys.
