'92 Broadway revival all the way. Can't beat it.

Anyone know if G&D has closed for good? It obviously closed after the '92, but I'm wondering if it was closed permanently or not.

*sings* when you see a guy, reach the stars in the sky, chances are that he's doing it for some doll...

You must be Broadway.

I have seen the beginning of that movie at least twenty times, but for some reason I never get to watch it all the way through. Something always comes up. Very irritating. I love Jean Simmons and Vivian Blaine. Oh humph. My sister has the DVD so I don't really have an excuse... well, someday. I know most of the songs. Adelaide's Lament is my personal fave

It's not in the movie? How strange is it that I've never seen the movie or show all the way through, but I do know that song. I really think I know the entire show without having ever seen it.

I have the movie "Guys & Dolls" with Frank Sinatra and Marlin Brando on VHS. I also have the record of the 1976 revival of "Guys & Dolls" with an all-black cast on Motown. it features Ernestine Jackson, Robert Guillaume, Norma Donaldson and others. At that point, Motown did two original broadway cast albums like "Pippin" and "Guys & Dolls" back in the 70's. Why did Motown put out a cast album like "Guys & Dolls"?
