This morning I watched the episode about Gilligan finding the lost Eye of the idol, and making 3 wishes. Each time a wish came true the Professor dismissed it as coincidence.
But isn't that unscientific also? How many times could an exact wish come true within seconds? It made the Professor look like he was being pridefully stubborn by holding his ground. Although at the end of the show he finally joins the others in relocating the Eye and acknowledges that there was always a chance that it had real power. But it's a sudden change. |
