some jokes i didnt get

in the episode where becky and dana get drunk, when becky says the joke about age "Its always Shes 14, Shes 14...well Nobody ever says...oh well look, Shes 37" what was so funny about that joke? i never got it.


also in the haloween episode in season 7, when david is trying to explain to DJ wut gay people do, DJ days "I don't get it" and Mark says "Yeah, me neither" and everyone in the audience laughs. were they laughing cause he was dumb and he Really didnt get what david was saying, or were they laughing because he said that to torture david?

also the one in the same episode where Dana's mom asks "Who Made these?" and Darlene goes "Wasn't it that gril that was here the other day?" and then Dana's mom gives her a mean stare. I never got that joke. was it supposed to be funny, cause a lot of the audience were laughing.

That is probably my favorite line from the episode! It is classic Darlene material all the way. Dana's mom asked who played bartender, and Darlene responded with a puzzled look saying, "Wasn't it that girl who was studying with you last night?" Meaning, Darlene was blaming it on Dana in a subtle way, when it obviously wasn't her, which pissed off her mom.

The humor was just that - you never hear anyone blame or condemn an adult for their behavior due to their age.
