I'm not sure if anyone has mentioned this segment on this board earlier. It's about a blonde guy who was thrown overboard on a boat near Baja California. He was originally presumed to be dead, but several people have sighted a similar looking man wandering around different towns not far from where his boat was wrecked, appearing to have lost his memory. Does anyone remember this case, and if so, has there been any resolution? It's surprising to me that this case wouldn't be solved. Some nomad with blonde hair wandering around the Baja Peninsula would seem to stick out like a sore thumb, but maybe I'm wrong.

I saw this on Lifetime a while ago, still with no update. The man's name was Gordon, and there was some speculation that he was eventually arrested for stealing food, but vanished again after his release.

I never understood why the Mexican authorities bothered to jail him if they didn't even attempt to establish his identity- even though they believed him to be a US citizen.

I don't understand either. If they couldn't figure out who he was, maybe they should have thought to contact US authorities. Perhaps this case could have been solved.
