Does anyone know if Actor Gregory Sierra is still around? I had heard that he had perished in some kind of fire back in The Early 90's but I'm not certain of it. Please respond ASAP. Thank you.

Why did he leave the show? On the show was he just transferred or something?

I remember him from an episode of the Fresh Prince of Belair. He played i think a guy named Hector who was a friend of Uncle Phil
that had his store looted in the riots.

chano's last episode was The Mole , march 18 1976 (ron carey was arrested as the mole by the way )
gregory sierra left to star in his on series AES Hudson Street made by the creators of Barney Miller . They wanted to duplicate the format of Barney Miller in a hospital setting

I don't remember the show AES Hudson Street. It probably didn't last long. I remember in the late 70s Gregory Sierra was added to the show "Sanford and Son" as a new character. The role he played was Julio and was a friend of Lamont. Fred didn't like Julio and Julio's goat. I can't remember why Julio owned a goat. That was the last I have seen of him.

I have tried unsuccessfully for over a year to get a working address to write him. I would so love his autograph; I have seen him in so many things. Every address I've tried results in my letter being sent back: "moved, no forearding address". If anyone knows a current address where I can write to Mr. Sierra, you'd make my day!!
