Default How did Janet and Chrissy meet?

I was thinking, I don't think it was ever established how Janet and Chrissy met and were introduced to each other. We found out how Jack met Janet and Chrissy and how Cindy and Terri met Jack and Janet, but not Janet and Chrissy, maybee one put a roommate ad in the paper and the other answered it?

i always find this interesting. also the ropers were never really explained how they came about owning the building. i think the point of origin on the show is jack. jack's character launched the show, and if you think about it ended the show. with him moving out signalled the end of TC. that said the orgins of the ropers and janet /chrissy i think were another oversite by the writers.

I agree. I think the writers could have done a MUCH better job with TC. Oh well, I guess we just have to accept it the way it is. Don't get me wrong though, I still LOVE TC, I just think the writers could have done a better job.

How the ropes came to own the building is not to important to TC but how Janet n Chrissy met is they where as much part of the show as Jack was, to me he alone wasn't TC all of them were n i would have loved to know how they met.

Or maybe they were originally living in YWCA. Where they met & decided to rent an apt.

pardon me i love tc, but i think it would have been interesting to know how the ropers came about to own the building.....it would have been intersting to see what motivated the ropers to purchase the property....was it an inheritance, a great investment in land and he built the building,etc.....oviously they got some good $ for the property when the sold it. all we saw was the bumbing and cheapness of roper....it would have shown how he's no dope after all.
