I was looking on the net. It look like Shelley Long will be appearing on the Thanksgiving episode of Complete Savages.

I haven't seen that show either. I heard of it and seen TV ads of it though. the episode will be on Friday November 26. Complete Savages is on ABC.

I haven't seen that show either, but if it's the one I'm thinking of, the creator was plugging it on the radio the other day, it sounded kinda good. Isn't it up for a People's Choice for best new comedy?

Yes, it is. I checked on ABC's website. I looked under the section for the shows. I looked at that show section. It said it was up a People's Choice for best new comedy.

It will be on Friday November 26. the time is 8:30/7:30 central.

Complete Savages was good, but only for the pilot.

I don't like it.
Maybe it's the all-male cast that irritates me.
BUT, I'm a fan of Shelley Long, and I'll watch this episode, although I despise Mel Gibson.

"Thanksgiving with the Savages" - Nick is excited to spend Thanksgiving - his favorite holiday - with his family, but much to his disappointment, Sam decides to spend it with his girlfriend Angela's family, whom he considers more "civilized." Plans are interrupted, though, when Nick and Jimmy are unexpectedly called away on a fire, so the boys decide to surprise Nick by making Thanksgiving dinner on their own. In looking up the proper way to cook a turkey online, they find a video of Thanksgiving safety tips hosted by none other than Officer Cox. However the stores are now sold out of turkeys, so they resort to buying a live one -- and get more than they bargained for. Meanwhile, Sam soon learns that there's more to Angela's seemingly perfect family than meets the eye, on "Complete Savages," FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 26 (8:30-9:00 p.m., ET), on the ABC Television Network.

Starring in "Complete Savages" are Keith Carradine as Nick, Andrew Eiden as Sam, Shaun Sipos as Jack, Erik von Detten as Chris, Evan Ellingson as Kyle, Jason Dolley as T.J. and Vincent Ventresca as Jimmy.

Guest-starring in "Thanksgiving with the Savages" are Autumn Reeser as Angela, Shelley Long as Judy, Lane Davies as Jeff, Mike Hagerty as Uncle Bob, June Lockhart as Lillian, Mel Gibson as Officer Cox and Candace Kita as Misty.

"Thanksgiving with the Savages" was written by Mike Scully and directed by Daniel Stern.

"Complete Savages" is broadcast in 720 Progressive (720P), ABC's selected HDTV format, with 5.1-channel surround sound.

A TV parental guideline will be posted closer to airdate.

I may not be able to watch this...I'm going to be over at somebody's place for Thanksgiving and probably won't have the opportunity to pull away and watch TV. Damn. I don't know how I'll survive.

I saw it. Shelley looked fine and was funny. Her part was small. Her part was fine. The show overall was okay.
