Default Best and worst TV DVD season sets

What are the best and worst TV on DVD sets you own?

There are sets far better that this, but the best ones I have are my "Friends" sets (and no, this isn't a bias, I just don't have very many shows ). Director's cut episodes, commentaries, gag reels, celebrity interviews, interactive maps... they have some good features. But once I get my "Seinfeld" DVDs, the mindblowing extras those have will make them my #1 TV DVDs.

Worst of mine? "ALF." Cut episodes, mediocre video quality, barely any extras.

Remember these have to be sets YOU own, not just overall.

I think the Simpsons sets so far have all been wonderful, every episode with audio commentary and quite a few bonus features every year

I also thought Fox did a great job with Buffy season 6.

Worst would probably be Charle's Angels season 2. Quality is good, but the first two "tv movie" episodes of the season were butchered up, and there's zero in the way of extras.

There are way too many to pick for best.

For worse, I'd have to say ALF. Chopped up syndicated prints and crappy packaging.

I'm pretty happy with the Futurama Season sets as well as the first 3 seasons of MASH, and of course 4 seasons of Sopranos, along with my nostalgic GI Joe and Transformers

I'm going by DVD quality, not necessarily what show I like more....

BEST:
Every season of The Simpsons. Deleted scenes, audio commentary on every episode, commercials, and more.

Freaks & Geeks - The Complete Series.
29 audio commentaries.... and only 18 episodes. One of the best.

WORST:
ALF - Season 1.... just a bad job overall.

The Mystery Science Theater 3000 Collection Volume 1 is the best set I have. A lot of extras. The other five sets don't have the uncut movies, though. I'd still buy them anyway since the show will surely not be seen on television for years.

BEST: Boy Meets World- Season 1. The commentries were also and the video and audio quality was great

WORST: Alf- Season 1. Poorly put together and the episodes were CUT, bad video quality.

Now that Seinfeld is released, I can safely say it's the best TV DVD I own. The episodes look great and there's an insane amount of special features. They're easily the flashiest in my collection.

Hard to argue with that.
