Thanksgiving Episode during the entire 10 years the show was o the air. Only Halloween which was puzzling since there were no kids in the cast and Christmas.

I never noticed. I think holiday episodes are pushed more by the networks now than they were years ago. There are a lot of older shows that had no holiday episodes at all, but today it is the very rare show that is like that. Since Thanksgiving is in November during sweeps many shows use this kind of episode to have a major event such as a big name star showing up for Thanksgiving dinner as the relative of a regular player or some major plot turn like Roseanne's mother announcing that she was a lesbian at Thanksgiving dinner in that show's last season.
Aside from the birth of Jessica during the Feb 1980 sweeps I don't recall the Jeffersons ever doing anything special for either the February or November sweeps periods. |

It's just odd to me that they had a Halloween episode instead of Thanksgiving. |

It would've been cool to see a Thanksgiving episode with the Jeffersons, the Willis' and Mr. Bentley.
