Default Wasn't it strange that Florida slept with Thelma and James slept with J.J and Michael

in the episode House Guest so that James childhood Friend could have a BED all to himself?-LOL When they could have just let him go to a hotel like he intended on doing in the first place.

I thought it was very strange. 3 people in a litte bed like that. It did make for some funny moments though.

Yeah, for sure. JJ was right. "Yes you are". He should've stayed at the hotel. However, he said later on that "I had to hide out here. They were getting close". He HAD to. Wasn't he the one who preferred to stay at a hotel? It made it seem like he was anticpating crashing.. uh hiding out there.

Can't say I blame him. 2 males in a bed is strange enough, but 3 males in a bed is sort of gay. lol

Yeah, it was a bizarre arrangement, but the scene with the three Evans men all trying to fall asleep on the couch was hilarious. James especially was funny as they all moved around, said goodnight to each other...

I wouldn't say strange since they were father and sons; it might have been strange (or a little gay-looking) if they were buddies, though. But I agree that the guy should have gotten a hotel room. The family was cramped up enough in that 2-bdroom apartment....they didn't have the room to have guests stay over.

I wasn't talking about James and the boys sleeping together being strange, I was mainly talking about how strange it was that his childhood friend received the king treatment and had a bed all to himself after he had just popped in for a visit-lol I mean who was he really? The President??

But that is how James and Florida were, they were very hospitable people.

When I lived in an apartment and had guests, I would give up my bed...not strange at all.

Some of my guests weren't "planned" guests either. I guess it just depends on how you were raised. When I lived at home, we had a guest room for guests. But my mom always told me that if we hadn't had a guest room, she and my dad would give up their room and sleep on the pull-out sofa.

I can understand a little though because they thought he was this big time public relations man and was giving him the king treatment
