I love both Happy Days and Family Matters. I have a question though. Did the producers
Miller Boyett that produced Family Matters produce Happy Days? I think in some ways Urkel and The Fonz were alike. |

uuuuh no. DEFINATELY NOT! Garry marshall directed and produced happy days or something like that. And I don't think that fonz and urkel have ANYTHING In common (No offense). The Fonz is cool and well... urkel is a nerd!

Yes, Happy Days was created by Gary Marshall and The Fonz was so much different than SteveUrkel of Family Matters. But when you look at closing credits, Thomas Miller was an associate producer of both shows and so was Boyett. Also 2 other guys named Bickley and Warren were associate producers on both Happy Days and Family Matters. Of course Paramount Pictures produced HD and Warner Bros. came out with FM. In many other ways Happy Days was similar to Family Matters and other ways not.
