TVShowsOnDVD reports that the total runtime for the set is 572 minutes. Well, I did a rough calculation and that turns out to be around 26 minutes per episodes! I smell original broadcast prints

I'm also psyched that the set will contain the never before seen pilot as an extra.

26 minutes? Isn't that a bit unusual for a show that late in the 80's?

Well I realized that the runtime mentioned was 572, not 576, but still when divided by 22 it comes up to 26 even. My guess is that the original long opening may be what makes these episodes so long.

Potential release date set for February 8, 2005. It is said to include the alternate pilot episode, creator commentary, and a trivia track. Two double sided discs priced around $25-$30. Not a bad price when you consider that you are basically paying for four discs.

I wish more DVD sets were double-sided discs. It would take up less space and be cheaper.
