Who'd ya'll like better? The fake Cindy (Jennifer Runyon) from "A VERY BRADY CHRISTMAS" or the fake Marcia (Leah Ayres) from "The Bradys"? Why?

Jennifer Runyon. She resembles Cindy more that than Leah resembles Marcia. What about Jeri Jewell? She resembeled Jan a lot. Out of the three, who di you guys like?

You are right! Leah Ayres hardly looked anywhere near like Maureen McCormick, and even her voice wasn't much of a resemblance, either

I think it's more acceptable to recast Cindy because the role of Marcia is a little bigger than Cindy. It didn't hurt that Jennifer Runyon is way better looking than Susan Olsen.

I forgot Jan did have a replacement too didn't she?! I like Leah but she really didn't remind me alot of Marcia. Jennifer was more like Cindy definately, just some of her expressions and stuff.

I would say Jeri. She looked the most like Jan. Jennifer & Leah didn't really favor Marcia or Cindy but they were both good actresses. Plus it must have been hard for them to have fill in well known actreeses shoes.

A nitpick: Geri Reischl (sp?) played Jan in the variety hour. Geri Jewell played Blair's cousin Geri, the one with cerebral palsy, on "The Facts of Life".

Leah Ayres played a Marcia that didn't resemble the original series character all that much, what with the alcoholism and other contrived dramatics, while Jennifer Runyon got to play a much more Cindy-esque role in "Christmas." Geri Reischl mainly just sang and danced, and didn't have to deal with the real Jan's mental problems.

I just noticed the mistake before I read your post. LOL. I wanted to edit my paragraph before someone beat me to making the correction. Darn! I had just been on the Facts of Life board before coming to this one.

How about Christine Taylor, the Very Brady Sequel version of Marcia?

Sexy and seductive.

Definitely agree with that...and the funny thing is, that on Barry Williams' official web site (I think it's just barrywilliams.com), he commented (in a Q&A) that he thinks that the "new Marcia" is hot! Kind of funny to hear an "old man" like Barry admit that he's got the hots for
Christine.
