Default No new topics?

This board has been so quiet for several days now. Have we exhausted everything? I can't think of anything new!

Sadly, yes. The only thing I really keep the board updated on is how it's doing on TVShowsOnDVD.com and even that's been slow...

i have a couple questions:
1. why didn't Iola have job? she was only about vints age yet she was always just hanging around. did her partents give her money?
2.why do you think the set changed so much when the show moved to syndication? loss of windows in the living room, smaller, and a different house was used for the opening/closing credits. what do you think the reason was for this?

Iola seemed to have spending money. Where did she get it? From her parents? I always wondered about that!

Iola was also known to sell her handy crafts at county fairs and yard sales and at chruch events. So maybe she made some money there.

Maybe she was disabled some(but very unlikely) and never said and got ssi and disability around 850 a month for most states(not all states) for a single person.

Yes I know The Harpers sold Iola's handy crafts at their yard sale for a vcr.

Also Ioloa tried to invent things to get people to notice her inventions, so she could have sold a few here and there and made a tiny profit.

Like the invilent turner that she used to capture that crook who tried to swindle money from the harpers when they tried to sell him the idea on the pet lock.

Well, She seemed to have cash on hand a lot! She loaned Bubba a 20.00 once for a sweatshirt and she had the cash to go on a trip on the Dixie Bell and the money to go along to Hawaii. Where did she get the money? She couldn't have been on SSI or Social Security because she was healthy enough. But people do cheat on that all the time. Iola may have been many things but not dishonest! I am thinking that she received a monthly salary(or allowance) from her Daddy? That's probably it!
