Sherwood shwartz and george wylie wrote the ballad of gilligans island. in the 1st season it was sung by the wellingtons who apeared on the episode about the rock band as the mosquitos and was cast as les brown and the wellingtons. but who sung the song in season 2? does anyone know?

The group who sang the second and third season were a band called The Eligibles. There is an interesting story about how the first season song was recorded Sherwood Schwartz was finishing up the pilot and he had to send it in to CBS for the new fall schedule and CBS moved it up so Sherwood Schwartz recorded it the sng at a friends house while they were having a party. I learned that in his book Inside Gilligan's Island
