In one early ep Cindy said that her mother got her a toy elephant from Africa. It is very out of character (and super hard to believe) that the less than worldly Carol Tyler Martin Brady ever actually visited Africa before marrying Mike Brady. This is what I think happened. Carol once brought Cindy home a surprise in the toy elephant. Cindy (in lisp) said "Goth Mommy! Where did you get it?" And Carol kiddingly replied "From the jungles of Africa!" (when in reality Carol got it from the local toy store). Cindy believed her.

PS You know if Barry Williams ever writes a third version of Growing Up Brady (and corrects the Chris Shea mistake among others that were in the first two editions of GUB) he could comment on Cidy's strange comment about Carol going to Africa!

My theory exactly, ficlopri...Carol was only kidding when she told Cindy that the elephant was from Africa, but Cindy, being a little kid, believes everything Mommy says.

I've always thought a show with Brady Bunch on Safari would be very interesting. It could be a field trip or a 2 parter; sort of like Grand Canyon Episode.
