TNA put on a very good ppv. Jacqueline made her TNA debut against Trinity. Jimmy Snuka was the mystery guest in Piper's Pit. Roddy Piper had demanded Jimmy to hit him with a cocunut after the famous cocunut hit Piper did to Jimmy 20 years ago,but Jimmy refused. Kid Kash hits Sonjay Dutt with the cocunut instead. Hector Garza won the 20 man X Division invitational tournament pinning Kazarian. Ron"the Truth"Killings,Eric Watts,Pat Kenney&Johnny B Badd defeated Kid Kash,Dallas&the Naturals. Little Pirate defeated Mascarita Sagreda in a midget match. Alpha Male Monty Brown defeated Abyss&Raven in a three way dance. 3 Live Krew defeated Team Canada to capture the NWA tag titles. I was hoping Billy Gunn was going to show up in this match. Petey Williams defeated AJ Styles to retain the X Division title. AMW defeated Triple X in a last tag team standing match. Jeff Jarrett defeated Jeff Hardy in the ladder match to retain the NWA title. Scott Hall was in Jeff Jarrett's corner. Kevin Nash finally showed up at the end who supposedly was in Hardy's corner. As Hardy was climbing the ladder Nash knocked Hardy off the ladder with a chair shot, setting Jarrett to climb up the ladder. Jarrett,Hall and Nash issued anyone from the TNA locker room to face them. AJ Styles,Monty Brown came down to the ring but were attacked. Randy Savage came down to the ring then the show went off the air. It was announced next month at the 12-5 Turning Point ppv,Jarrett,Hall and Nash will face AJ Styles,Monty Brown and Savage. Hulk Hogan was backstage at the ppv.

I didn't see it, but I heard the ppv was just average. Nothing special really happened.

It's tight that Hall and Nash reuniting. Does anybody think TNA could reach up to WWE?? Because before WCW did that, they signed WWE's top wrestlers that time like DiBiase, Hogan, Hall, Nash, Savage, and in '97 Bret Hart and look at TNA right now with legends.

No way. TNA doesn't nearly have the money that WCW had. Plus, all they are doing is signing really old washed up stars, that can't compete anymore. They were old when WCW signed them, now they are ancient.

Randy Savage hasnt been in mainstream wrestling since About 1999, Hall & Nash's last WWE Runs were poor and they werent exactly big stars anymore, And Snuka is only a name to people that have watched for awhile Or are diehard fans. For TNA To do the equivalent of what WCW Did in the 90s, They Should consider going after Austin, Hogan (Quite old and past his prime, But still very much a big draw), And Brock Lesnar (VERY Doubtful They would be able to get Lesnar, But i guess its not impossible if they offered him the right money and schedule). |

If Austin were to go to TNA it would be a gm on air role. I think his neck is too injured for him to get back in the ring. Goldberg is becoming involved in doing movies. Lesnar is not ready to give up his football career. It will be interesting how Savage can compete in the ring. He hasn't wrestled since 1999 in WCW when he was with at that time his girlfriend Gorgeous George. Don't be suprised if one day Ted Turner decides to get back into wrestling and work out a deal with TNA. I think then TNA will be able to compete financially with WWE.

Lesnar is currently a free agent, the Vikings cut him so they would be under the 54 player limit. I think the WWE would offer him maximum which could get him a million? a year, but if he gets signed, he won't get as much money as he can get in the WWE, probably only like 300-500 K a year. |
