Happy Birthday!

Yeah, I don't really like Chris either, but every once in a while, he does tend to say something...... charming.

He keeps getting Meg into trouble, but he just may end up being one of those characters that turns around and for all we know wedding bells will be ringing for he and Meg in just a few years. (Please American Dreams, be on for at least a couple more years)

Then we all will be saying, "Remember what an idiot that Chris used to be??"

How about Luke? Yum city? Oh yeah, he is so cool. Lookin good, Luke...

I'm sorry but I think your wrong about Chris. He isn't a bad influence on her. She the on tha made him anti-war. i think Chris is great for her. At least he cares about her and conforts her. Which she needs right now and since her family and Roxanne doesn't care about her he is the best. I thought the show was great. It was a sad one. I didn't stop crying till it was over.

I thought I was the only one thinking that Cal and Meg won't be an item for long. It seems like "the good girl falls for bad boy to rebel against her parents" syndrome. It was an emotional episode like last weeks. I immediately started to cry with the first words JJ said on the tape- especally the part when he tells Meg she's the oldest and watch out for the others.

I really like Chris, I think him and Meg are such a good couple. He was just mad at her because she didn't show up at the Wash. monument. He was probably worried that she got lost or something bad happened. When he was yelling at her, it was only because he really cares about her, and he didn't realize that they got more news about J.J.

Heh heh....

I must be getting old because I am seeing how at this rate Chris is assisting Meg to make her future quite difficult... I am not thinking so much about the pleasantries of the present.

Meg's parents love her. Roxanne held her at Bandstand.

Ok your not wrong to have an opinion. But I don't see how after the last show you can say her family and Roxanne care about her. Her mother is in her own little bubble not careing about comforting Meg, Will, or Patty. Her father after he told Meg about JJ in Washington was so uncaring. Its like he was saying your brother's dead I'm, going out without even thinking about how she's feeling. Lastly Roxanne only cared about her that one part at bandstand. She didn't come over to talk to her or just be there of her. She went on with her life like Meg wasn't even there. She wasn't acting like a best friend should.

With that I disagree. Her family is going through the same thing Meg is, it's not like it's any different. And Chris is really a good guy. He seems tough on the outside, but inside he's really sweet. I loved the part where she didn't show up at the rally, and back at home he's yelling at her. He goes, "I thought something happened to you!" And she whispers, "Something did," and moves towards him. He pushes her away, saying "No! Meg, why didn't you show up?" and she starts crying. He hugs her, saying, "Sweety, what's wrong?" it's totally sweet.

This episode is probably one of my favorites ever. Man, just incredible.

I gotta hand it to Gail O'Grady...she was amazing. Her performance in this episode proved to me that her three Emmy nominations were more than justified. It was such a release to finally see Helen show some emotion; the scene in which she lets loose and starts screaming at Jack was just what I wanted to see out of at least one of these characters. I wish the others would do the same. It adds so much to the scene when there's real feeling involved.

I think Brittany Snow really showed her stuff, as well. She played up the emotion and the atmosphere with great conviction. Possibly her best job so far on AD.

Overall, a fantastic episode. And next week’s looks just as good.
