The song is called "Paint it Black" by the Rolling Stones. It's actually a very famous, well known song. A classic. I'm assuming you must be very young if you've never heard it before!!

Oh, god. Thank you. Songs like that just captivate me and I'm left wondering what they're called, it's such a great song!
Yes, being fifteen I've missed the golden age of music. The 60-70s. Today's music isn't bad, but none of it has soul like these songs do. Thank you. |

You're very welcomed!!
It's nice to know American Dreams is educating people not only about the history of the '60's but also introducing people to the great music that came out of that decade. |

I thank you, thank you, and I'll thank you some more. I'm going to these boards for the songs in the show since NBC's site is a bit behind.

Why'd you post an image in the first place?
Person who started this thread who's username I don't remember: I'm in the same boat - being sixteen I missed out on the music of the 60s....but that music sucks anyway. Who knows the song "1985" or "Stacy's Mom?" Now THAT'S cool music. |

I don't know about you all, but I get so into this show that if it ends on a sad note, I'm depressed for the rest of the night, and sometimes even into the next day!
Soooo, even though it was sad, I'm glad the music they chose was up. They probably did this for that exact reason -- it was a pretty heavy ending!
