Post Nick at Nite is Crazy!

You're gonna love this one.

Tonight's show Adios Johnny Bravo. Alice is in the girls room about to give her speech about the girls being jealous about Greg I mean Johnny. Watch this:

Nick cuts it off & goes to commercial right when Alice starts talking. The commercial is selling some party CD. This is something else. While the ad is running the Nick at Nite bug is still in the corner of the screen! Boy they goofed up tonight. The bug stays on the ad for about a minute; then comes off. A major glitch here. And luckily I just saw it!

4 or 5 ads later we see the tag where Greg goes into Mike & Carol's room. They skipped a Mess of program in between! A major Brady No No, from where Alice is in the girls room to the tag, I'd say about 10 Minutes! Yikes and away.

And now I'm watching the Jeffersons.

The worst TV mistake I ever saw was during a Simpsons rerun. There was a shot of Lisa Simpson talking, and then suddenly there were four seconds of hardcore oral sex!!! The station manager quickly taped an apology message that was run numerous times afterwards, and needless to say, there were some firings at the station.

Memo to Network Executives:

When we run a program it is not best or proper to snip off a portion Right in the Middle of the Scene for commercials; it messes up the story.

Nick at Night is running the "Jan's Allergic to Tiger" episode. There's a scene where Mr. Brady was in the girls room with Jan. She starts sneezing and Carol calls Mike out into the hall. In a cute scene Tiger leaves the room at the same time. All right.

Carol & Alice mentions the possibility that Jan's allergic to Mr. Brady. Mr B says to Alice "That's silly" and Snip!

Commercials.

The pivotal scene's cut off, however where Tiger hops on the bed w/Jan thus causing Jan to sneeze. So an equation:

It appeared that when:

Mr Brady left= Jan got better
Mr Brady in Jan's room =Jan sneezes

Hence Alice's thinking Jan's allergic to the Man Named Brady.

However the scene that Slick Nick snipped out is critical to the storyline, for Tiger is isolated as the culprit of Jan's allergy (flea powder to get technical that Tiger had on). Whew! So here's the Brady Score:

Alice Carol & Mike in the hall
Mike says Alice is silly
SNIP! Commercial.
We pick it up with the boys in the yard.

Slick Nick this is a Brady No No, actually a TV No No. Snipping out scenes in the Middle of the show to run ads, without picking it up where you left off, thus ruining the show. Do you or will you do this with all your shows. Well as Mr. B would say its gonna stop right now. Family Lecture Time, albeit a Friendly One.

Next time please let the scene finish then Snip

And not to pick on them a bit but they tried to insert commercials in the middle of a scene where the Bradys are seeing Tiger off to Grand Mere. Very distracting, but they pulled them off the show; the ads only flashed on screen for a sec. Looks like the technicians at Nick need more coffee for this is the 2nd major gaffe this week.

Mallory's friend is pregnant. Ah yes a controversial episode! Don't tell N@N
Like later.

Well here in Tampa, WTTA 38 was running an episode of Gunsmoke and then a porno movie appeared for about 9 seconds. Jay Leno talked about it on the Tonight Show. The guy who was watching it got fired as he deserved to.

I agree! I saw the Brady "Tiger" Episode.......Pretty embarrasing. Now they are editing episodes in the middle of lines!

During the early nineties I was watching a Cosby Show rerun on KDNL 30 in St. Louis when during the middle of the episode static came onto the screen and then all of the sudden they go into the middle of a different episode entirely.
