Default Mozilla Firefox Browser

Firefox is the greatest! I have had no spyware or viruses since I switched from Internet Explorer. And it is faster too! Those of you who are having IE problems, like I had lately, must get Firefox! I highly recommend it!
And I found out about it here on Chit Chat and I am eternally grateful! You guys rock! Love Ya!

Can't beat firefox for security and all...But I still can't get myself to switch. I've been using IE for almost 5 years and it's hard getting used to Firefox because it looks so similar but everything is in odd places.

Still freaks me out that the :rotflmao: smiley moves at 60 mph.

Precisely.

...And for some odd reason Firefox is actually about twice as slow as IE and makes my computer MUCH slower. I have no idea what it is about it but for the little time I used it, that was enough for me to just go back to IE.

Hmmm maybe it depends on the type of program you use on your computer. IE takes forever to load for me, I compared it with Firefox and it took twice as long to load as Firefox did

Firefox pwnz IE. The only thing I don't like about Firefox, is that the copy-paste feature on many IRC search engines don't work, you gotta do it in IE.

I have had so much trouble with IE lately that I tried using Netscape for a while. I still had spyware problems with that. So far I have had no problem with Firefox. I really don't understand what some of you are talking about not liking it! To each his own I guess!

Personally, I like Mozilla Navigator (part of the larger suite) better than firefox now. Mozilla suite will load a portion of itself into memory for faster loading, a feature that firefox has yet to incorporate, and even on my 2GHz machine, it takes 5-10 seconds to open the firefox window....

Perhaps they'll fix this when Firefox 1.0 goes gold.
