The last time we did "Role Play", we ended with a cliffhanger. Now to make things different, I'm adding new characters to the list. Here's the list:

Scott (Bridget's Tennis Coach)

I could start at anytime, starting with the next post.

Great! I'll be Scott! Here's how it began...

[at the high school's fieldhouse]

Scott: Okay, girls, we're gonna steal a page from the Andy Roddick playbook. Now, I've got Bridget on the frontside court and Marisa on the other side. Now, this is the key to beating South Bloomington Hills this weekend: the blazing ace layup! Marisa: Serve one up to Bridget.
[Marisa serves the ball to Bridget and forehands the ball back to Marisa who volleys the ball back to Bridget]
Scott: Now dive, Bridget!
Bridget: [thinking] If I don't get this, Coach Scott would be madly mad and I won'tbe able to play on the Pro Tour! [gasps] That means I won't be going shopping with Maria Sharapova!
[Bridget dives for the ball, hits it, and the ball lands inside the baseline]
Scott: Yes! Now that's what I want from you girls! Now, hit the showers.
[at the house]
(doorbell rings, door opens)
Scott: Hey there, Cate. I just wanna let you know that Bridget did a good job in practice today. By the way, can we go have some ice cream again?

Cate: Keeerryyy...
Kerry:Okay(sighs and exits)
Rory: I hope nothing is going on...
Jim: It's Cate's life,just because Paul is gone,doesn't mean she has to stay single forever...
Cate:Right Dad.
Bridget: We are so ready for mom to meet other guys,right?
Rory: Yeah
Kerry: I'm not sure(walks away)
Cate:Wait!

Scott: Cate, can I ask you to do me a favor, not as co-workers, but from person to person. I'm trying to find a student coach to help the team when I'm at departmental meetings, or when I'm sick. I want Bridget to become that student coach. I see a lot of oppurtunities in her that are yet to be revealed. So, what do you say?
Bridget: I would love to! Thanks, mom! [hug] Thanks, coach! [hug and kiss] (thinking) Whoa...I can't believe I'm kissing my tennis coach/future husband! Better make the most of it.
Scott: (thinking) Whoa...I can't believe the best player on the team is kissing me! Better make the most of it.
CJ: (thinking) Whoa...I can't believe I'm seeing this! Better make the most of it. (out loud) Hey, Rory, wanna shoot hoops?
Rory: HORSE.
CJ: You're on! [CJ and Rory leave]
Kerry: (thinking) Ew...I can't believe Bridget's kissing Scott! Better make the most of it. [looks up] God? Are you there? Please tell me this isn't happening!

*Rory walks in with CJ*
CJ: Oh whoa woah,Aunt Cate*sheepish grin*

*They both run*
Cate: What the hell was that?
Bridget: They are just plain stupid...
Kerry: Mom,why did you have to kiss Scott,barf
Cate: Because,(looks at Scott) I want to go out with him. I really like him. What do you say Scott?

but I don't want to ruin chances between you and Scott. So just say that you want just the two of you.
Cate: Ok,Scott,but on one condition,it just has to be the two of us,I don't want any awkwardness.

Scott: Is Cate there?
CJ: Hold on one sec there, Baron Von Kissalot. [screams] Your date's here!
Cate: [upstairs] Tell him to wait one second!
CJ: Okay! She'll be down in one sec. So...what else you got?
Scott: Do you wanna meet my friend?
CJ: If she's hot, then yes. If she's like anyone of my ex-girlfriends, nyet.
Scott: Okay. Meet my sister, Mindy.
[Mindy (played by Lindsay Lohan) enters]
Mindy: Uh, hi.
CJ: Whoa. [to Scott] Did I tell you that you're one lucky man? [to Mindy] So...wanna have dinner with the Ceejmeister?
Mindy: [laughs] You're so funny! Maybe some other time.
[Cate and Bridget enter downstairs]
Scott: Um, Cate, Bridget, this is my sister, Mindy. Mindy, this is Cate Hennessy, my co-worker at school, and her daughter Bridget, who's the top tennis player on the team I coach.

Kerry: Yeah...
Mindy: Um, Bridget, what's the deal with CJ?
Bridget: Oh, CJ's our cousin who sooo wants to get with a girl badly.
Kerry: He's a Don Juan Desperado.
Bridget: Mr. One Night Score.
Kerry: Ew!
Mindy: I dunno. He seems kinda hot.

CJ: Now where was I? Oh, yeah. Mindy, If you can't go out to dinner with me, at least let me take you Mini-Golfing at Lord Putterhead's Fun Faire!
Mindy: Sure! Do you have a car?
CJ: I used to, but Frodo Gampins here torched it, and I'm trying to save enough money to get another one.
Bridget: Grampy, Can we borrow your station wagon?
Jim: Sure...If I'm the one who's coming! Plus, The Rockford Files is on in 10 minutes.
CJ: Oh, come on, Gampy! This is my only shot with Mindy! Pleease?
Jim: Oh, okay! But everybody's coming.
Kerry: [thinking sarcastically] Thank God.

CJ: I did, but I turned down the offer to be more of a "role model."
Mindy: See? That's what I like about you: you're sweet, honest, and naughty.
CJ: Naughty?! But I--
[Mindy slaps CJ's butt]
CJ: Ooh! You're on!
[CJ and Mindy walk away, Bridget, Kerry, Rory, and Jim enter]
Jim: What were they talking about?
Kerry: I think he's telling the Aerosmith story again.
Bridget: [pulls out her binoculars] Oh, god. Oh, my God! What is Mindy doing to CJ? Why is she taking off his shirt?
Mindy: Oh, butterfingers! Sorry for squirting ketchup all over your shirt.
CJ: That's okay. When I worked as a mall security officer, stuff like this happens.
Bridget: Ew!
Kerry: Let me see that. [takes binoculars away and looks] Oh, god, no! Oh, no! Aah!
Jim: Girls! What's going on?
[Bridget and Kerry clamor]
Jim: One at a time! One at a time!
Bridget: Mindy was taking CJ's shirt off...
Kerry: ...and she dragged him into the bushes!
Jim: Let me see that! [takes binoculars away and looks] Oh. It looks like Mindy was just using the ball washer to clean CJ's ketchup-stained shirt.
Bridget and Kerry:Oh...
Kerry: Let's just play some mini-golf while CJ goes into hey-hey!-ville.
Jim: Rory, hold on to these binoculars while I go to the john.
Rory: Okay. [looks into binoculars] Oh, my...Twins. What would CJ do?
CJ: [voiceover] If you want to hit on more than one girl, there are three rules. Rule number one: Multitask. Rule number two: Multitask. And rule number three: Sing the Coors Light song before you make your move.
Rory: Okay. [sings] I love workin' at the mall, Pistons basketball, Hangin' with my friends...and twins! Thanks, CJ!
CJ: [voiceover] No problem.
Rory: [shouts to Bridget and Kerry] And I Love You Too!

*Kerry and Bridget w/ Mindy and CJ walk by. Rory is tagging along w.a Big Gulp. They have hot dogs and sodas,and when Kerry sees Cate she drops her food on the ground*

Bridget:How embarrassing*sighs*
*Jim walks in. He is holding a Big Gulp*
Jim: Cate!
Cate: Jim,kids,Mindy,CJ???What are you doing here???
Jim: Just decided to take the kids out w/ their friends to the putt putt course.
