Default The day Chico made an visit to Fred Sanford's Junkyard

Actually it was a off screen visit according to this stament by Chico-"This is the last time we buy tires from Sanford and Son" To me it was pointless for the writers to add this line in the script because these two shows never crossed over when they aired back to back on NBC. So that statement by Chico would have been fine if he had actually appeared on Sanford and Son.

Lightbulb on the other hand.....

Yes, but writers back then would often make references to other shows on their shows..... and both were NBC properties and both shows took place in LA.... Sanford and Son in WATTS and CATM in East LA.... and I guess they could have hypothetically frequented each others place of business... it would have been cool if it had happened on TV, and who knows, maybe they were thinking that it might have been a future episode, but alas, it wasn't to be.

(BTW I am sure most of us know that both shows were filmed on the same sound stage as well, so there is more than one link between the shows)

Good Times referenced Redd Foxx alot and I think Sanford & Son itself, but I'm not sure.

GT also made a reference to Chico and the Man in 1976. The reference to CATM was sort of a "hidden reference" not a obvious one when Florida Evans said-"LOOKING GOOD" And GT made two references to Redd Foxx the Actor, there was never any reference to the show-"Sanford and Son"

I think the reason why Chico and the Man made a hidden referrence to Sanford and Son because back then the two shows were filmed in the same studio at NBC.

I think she meant what you were referring to in your first post.
