Question The episode with The Attic apartment

I only saw the movie version of that episode where Greg has a crush on Marsha but what happened in the real episode with the Attic apartment?

The Bradys are cleaning out the attic and Greg and Marcia separately have the same idea: the attic would make a good bedroom. Carol gives Marcia permission to move into the attic, and Mike gives Greg permission. When this conflict is brought to Mike, he decides to give the room to Greg, because he is the oldest, and Marcia can have the room when Greg goes to college. Greg then moves in.

But Marcia puts on a big crying act to Greg, so he moves out and lets her have the attic. Bobby and Peter are bummed out, becaue they wanted to have their room to themselves. They start making crank calls to Marcia on the telephone, so she'll have to climb down two flights of stairs each time to answer it. They hope she'll realize how inconvenient being in the attic is, and move out. She figures out what they're doing, though, and Greg berates them for being selfish. But Marcia realizes that she's been selfish, too, and gives the attic back to Greg.

BTW - one other thing about the attic episode (which I loved)... at the end of the show, Mike and Carol are talking and they realize that each of the kids (Greg, then Marcia, then Peter, then Jan, then Bobby, then Cindy) will eventually want the attic for their room... only thing I was wondering is, if Greg, then Marcia, then Peter and then Jan get the attic as their own room, why would Bobby and Cindy want it too...I mean, if Marcia gets the attic when Greg moves out, then Peter gets it when Marcia moves out, etc...the other kids will be out of the house by that time it's Bobby and Cindy's turns...why wouldn't the two of them just keep their own rooms, since they'll finally have the rooms to themselves? And no, I don't have as much time on my hands as y'all probably think :-)

Don't worry, I thought of the same thing the first time I saw the episode.

I wonder how the attic would work with Jan and Peter weren't they both the same age and in the same grade?

I always wondered how the attic could become liveable when in a really early episode it was mentioned that the attic was only 2 feet tall. Only on television!!!!!
