Default "Those Lips, Those Lies"

"finally, a dream sequence i can sink my teeth into"

ritchie is set up by a woman set to rub out her ex-partner. he fell in love but our heroes find to she is not just a modeling agent, but a working girl too.
dave and ritchie have their times, they fight, they make up. the part at the end where they spend the night together having fun and trying to get ritchie healed from this devastating emotional time, was priceless. two brothers together.

love how this one starts out with dave and maddie arguing about al jareau not being told they moved to sunday. and without him, no one can sing the song. so they take turns. until bert comes in lypsyncing the theme. great stuff!!

This episode to me is uneven....but one of the best aspects is the relationship we get to see between David and Richie. The two guys bond at the end over Richie's heartbreak....and I enjoyed seeing that. Throughout much of the episode David was resistent to help Richie, but Maddie pressed him to. And then when David thought something bad had actually happened to Richie, he reacted quite strongly and they both ended up in jail where they really bonded. Then it was a matter of David and Maddie taking care of exposing the fraudulent fiance and trying to support Richie once he found out.

Too silly to me is the bit with the models...and how David does the commercials. But I did enjoy D&M doing investigation of the modeling agency using Maddie as the bait.

I generally like the episodes that feature Richie. But like many episodes in the 5th season, I thought David and Maddie acted out of character here. Where is all the anger coming from? I don't get why David is so po'd with Richie the whole time. I also don't get the anger between David and Maddie in car scene about 'intimacy'. About the only thing that was kind of fun was the end sequence between David and Richie.

The end scene with David and Ritchie is my favourite part of the episode

I liked this one -- maybe because Charles Rockett is featured in it. I find him a very likeable actor. The modeling scenes were quite painful to watch -- I found them extremely silly. I liked the dinner/dancing scenes.

I liked the title of this one 'cuz Cybill has great lips and eyes.

I know it's Those Lips, Those Lies, but didn't it come from Those Lips, Those Eyes?

There is still some romance between D&M in the dancing scene.
Just watch David who can't wait to dance with the Big Blonde.
Later on it cools down again.
I guess I'm the only one who liked the scene with D as a model.
Maybe it's because I like the Elvis song so much.
And how Cybill is watching him doing the job is funny, because it's a reversed situation.
