I'm trying to vote for a certain show on tvshowsondvd.com but I constantly come up - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

with 0 matches. The show is CPO Sharkey and it debuted in 1976. It was a comedy and I still get no matches. It was actually a military comedy but I thought just putting comedy would allow me to vote. Is it possible for a show to have no matches?????

I found it. I had to put C.P.O. instead of CPO. Come on CPO Sharkey Fans, let go to tvshowsondvd.com and VOTE to get this show on DVD

Solomon, I'm with ya on That's My Mama (I'd definately get it).... but I have no idea what C.P.O. Sharkey was about, or even when it aired.

I remember liking it. It had something to do with the armed forces (Navy?) and starred Don Rickles. Aired in the 70's I think, or very early 80's. Not high up on my anticipated dvds list, though.

CPO Sharkey was a military comedy starring Don Rickles and it aired on NBC in 1976 and ended in 1978,

Some of the shows you mention I have never heard of. I had never heard of That's My Mama till you talked about it. If it wasn't in syndication here, then I've never heard of it, plus I didn't watch alot of tv growing up

Since we are around the same age i thought you would have heard of either CPO Sharkey, That's My Mama, or Checking In.

Seriously I have never heard of any of them. When I did watch tv growing up, it was stuff like A Team, Dukes of Hazzard, MacGyver, and sitcoms like WTB, Growing Pains, etc.....

So true. I was born in the mid-80s, so all of my favorite TV shows are from the late 80s and early to mid 90s. It's just a generational thing.

I was born in 1974 but I don't like that many 70's sitcoms, about the only 70's sitcom that I truly love is Three's Company, I'm more of an 80's/90's sitcom fan

I like 70's sitcoms, don't hate them, I do watch All in the Family once in a blue moon, but besides TC that's about all.
