One of my all time favorite shows.Frank Spencer reminds me so much of my Dad who is also half British, and his facial expressions are exactly like Frank's.He's also a bumbling idiot like Frank....hehehe.

Did you know that Michael Crawford (Frank Spencer) did all of his own stunts? Some of them are so dangerous that's it hard to believe that he was allowed to do them!

TRULY! I didn't know that, thats amazing.I thought he would've used a double for some of those stunts.Everything was so dangerous and over the top,and that made the show so funny!

Its hard to believe that Micheal Crawford is a serious opera singer when he's not Frank Spencer

I know! I could NEVER picture him as Phantom after seeing him as Frank! I saw an interview once, and on opening night in London, the gondola he rode in on got stuck midway through the stage and it wouldn't budge. The comic once again surfaced and he improvised by just picking it up and walked off stage carrying it. LOL!

His slapstick comedy was a perfect combination of Dick Van Dyke and Tim Conway. He must have been injured doing some of those stunts and they would never allow him to do it to that extent today. I remember one episode of him hanging onto a piano for dear life and it rolled down a steep cobblestone street and continually gaining speed! I don't think any trick photography was used for it either.

A real classic!!
