Have been trying for over a year now to dig up episodes of the 1967 super hero spoof Mr. Terrific. And I'll take 'em in any format: VHS, DVD, 16mm optical sound film or even Super 8mm magnetic sound.
I already have some of this show on VHS tape: 1. The Pill Caper (1968 compilation film of 4 eps) 2. Unaired Pilot starring Alan Young 3. Episode #6-Stanley the Safecracker 4. An edited version of episode #1-Matchless I don't have a lot of rare or high quality tapes to trade, but if anyone has any "new" footage from this show for me, I'm sure we can work something out. Thanks. |

There is a scammer in Poland who's claiming to have the entire series of Mr. Terrific. One trader I deal with has a friend who actually sent money, and of course never received discs. A lot of folks are looking for the series (including me), but so far the most anyone I know has is what you've listed. But it can't hurt if we're all scouting around in search of it - report back if you find anything! :>

Thanks for responding.
I agree. The more of us digging around for this show, the better our chances of striking paydirt. By the way, almost a year ago I wrote an article about remembering/collecting Mr. Terrific and submitted it to a monthly collector's publication called The Big Reel. On New Year's Eve I finally received a letter from them asking me to sign a waiver for the piece and promising to pay me $100 upon publication. That doesn't necessarily guarantee they'll ever get around to running it, but if they do, I'll post something on the one year wonder message board. |
