Post Cutest guest star

Who's the cutest (non celebrity) guest star to appear on the Brady Bunch?

My vote would go to Kym Karath, the girl who played Kerry Hathaway (Ep 76, Cyrano de Brady)...as Pete would say, "Wow"

My runner-up vote is for Tannis G. Montgomery (Ep 86, Greg's Triangle) who played Jennifer Nichols...she tried to date Greg so she could be picked as head cheerleader, and Greg chaired the judging committee (since when do the guys in high school get to pick the head cheerleader, anyway???)

Of course, Melissa Sue Anderson played Millicent, Bobby's girlfriend, for one episode...but she was still a little young at that time...

Lot of cute girls over the years, but I think Kerry and Jennifer were the best. I liked both episodes too...gee, I wonder why?

The cutest in my opinion was the nerdy girl
Marcia transformed. Molly Webber. I thought she was cute.

I feel bad cause i can't remember the character or the episode name. But i think that the guy who stole gregs play book and i think he sold greg that horrible car that fell apart, was a real cutie.

Good pick, julian...Debi Storm, who played Molly Webber (season 3, ep #71 "My Fair Opponent") was definitely cute, too.

to cafemochadrinker...Chris Beaumont played Jerry Rogers, the rival quarterback who stole Greg's playbook in season 5's ep #103 "Quarterback Sneak"
Incidentally, Chris also played Greg's former High School (now in college) friend Hank, in season 4's ep #94 "A Room at the Top". That's the episode in which Greg and Marcia both wanted to move up into the attic.
And, in season 2's "Our Son, the Man", episode #43, Chris also appeared in sort of a bit part. This is the episode where Greg moves into Mike's den. When Greg is at school and he's trying to impress the girl studying outdoors on the bench and he accidentally makes her tear a page out of her French book (by sneaking up behind her and grabbing the book from her hand), Greg was actually trying out a move that Chris had done earlier in that episode.

The other episode featuring Chris (as "Eddie") was "The Wheeler Dealer", ep. #53, season 3, where Chris sold Greg the lemon car. Greg then thought about selling the car to his friend Ronnie, but ended up selling the parts to a junk yard dealer instead.

(I got this info from "Bradymania" by Elizabeth Moran. Excellent Brady reference!!)

And Montana - wow! that is amazing...I never knew any of the Sound of Music kids'real names (except Angela Cartwright, of course)...I had no idea that Kerry Hathaway and little Gretl were one and the same!
Thanks for a great bit of trivia!

Oh, P.S...within the last couple of years, I recall seeing a special on the Sound of Music (must have been a 35th anniversay show, or something...I think maybe they were celebrating the restoration of the original prints for video release) in which several of the cast members were interviewed. And Kim (Gretl) is still a very beautiful lady today!

That's neat!

And in another "Sound of Music" guest appearance, Nicholas Hammond, who was eldest Von Trapp brother Friedrich, played Big Man on Campus Doug Simpson in "The Subject was Noses".

Great post, TV Guy! That is truly amazing.
I wonder which role Nicholas is more famous for? :-)

Can you imagine, playing a Von Trapp kid in an all time classic like The Sound of Music, but being best known as Doug Simpson on the Brady Bunch? I'm sure that in today's "pop culture" America, Doug Simpson is at least as famous a name as Friedrich Von Trapp!

Well, now I need to see the "Great Grandma Hutchens/Great Grandpa Brady" episode...I've always considered that episode to be unwatchable, but now I'm beginning to wonder whether the great-grandparents, whom I always thought were played by Florence Henderson and Robert Reed, were actually played by Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer...I wouldn't be surprised at all, given the link between the two classics! :-)

Thanks for the posts, everybody! Have a great day!

I always envied Mike Lookinlad for the opportunity to kiss Melissa Sue Anderson!
