Default Homecoming

Woo, ok guys this is mainly for the high school crowd, however if you old people crowd want to do that whole "back in my day thing" it's cool with me. I'm just trying to spice up the boards a little bit because even as much as I haven't been online, it seems like the same topics keep on staying at the top every time I get on. So, here's the topic. How was homecoming? For those of you who went. If you went post pictures, everybody loves to do that, I mean, come on, we have a frikin photo gallery. Share, tell stories, just do something.

I'll share later...once...SOMEBODY says something.

Okay I'll say something. My homecoming was tonight and I didn't bother going, because I didn't feel like being in a cafeteria with ****ing *******s like all the people at my school.

So I skipped out and went to see Alvin Ailey & Company. Excellent show.

I hate those kids enough, I'm not going to spend more time with them than I already have to.

Ha, sounds good. I really don't like Homecoming that much, I hate the dance itself, however this year was suprisingly good, but I definitely thought about skipping it.

I'm old!!

My homecomings were okay usually...except for that 10th grade date fiasco. It was the fancier dances that really sucked.

I only went to the Homecoming dance in 9th and 10th grade. I didn't want to dress up for the other dances, so I skipped out on the one my junior and senior years. I enjoyed coronation, though - that's as far as it goes.

I did like how we could dress up as something every day.

Argh the dreaded homecoming. In my school it is basically a date dance so if a girl doesn't get asked it's a horrible tragedy. Some girls are so desparate that my friend from another school wants to go to the homecoming here. She is so pathetic that she is actually asking a guy that she doesn't even like to homecoming. And now she wants me to convince him to go with her. Luckily I told her no.

What are homecomings like? Are the clothes you wear in it are casual or something? What's the music like?

I went to homecoming freshman year and that was enough for me. I don't do dresses. I don't do dances. I hate people. The end.

It's almost like an autumn version of prom...Only prom is MUCH MUCH bigger than homecoming...Yeah, the girls get really dressed up...but the boys just wear shirts & cargo pants. At least, that's from my experience. I can't say if it's the same for the high school kids in your area.

it's where girls buy expensive dresses so they can waste 3 hours of their life while some loser tries to feel them up in the corner.

Well...I've never been to one, but I imagine that is what it is like...oh, and judging by the few dances I have been too, they play ****ty music and you just sit there bored as **** waiting for it to be over.

God, I would never even want to dress up nice enough to go with a girl wearing a nice dress

Mine was October 9th. But it's really just like any dance. You're not supposed to wear nice dresses. You're supposed to wear jeans and stuff, and grind as usual.

I was out of town for mine. But even if I hadn't been, I wouldn't have gone.

I hated homecoming. I hated school period. Love being homeschooled though. Can work when I want, don't have to be on a schedule.
