Default Losing wallets or whatever

So I lost my wallet yesterday, and I looked high and low for it, I fallowed my tracks just now and I still can't find it. I just got my new drivers card, but I can get another one,at least my picture will be better. I hate my picture any waysit's gotta be here somewhere. But if not I have to get another one I had this wallet for ever.

Yeah I lost my wallet in Washington, DC last year. Luckily, my $300 was not inside [it was all spent ] but I still lost my library card, school ID (that I needed to get on Andrews Airforce Base- what a hassel without it) and a bunch of other cards, not to mention my cute wallet

hope you find it!

One time I lost my driver's license, so I went and got a new one (better picture!). Then my old one turned up at the school library.

Few years ago I was having lunch in a local park, and rode my bicycle 3 blocks to a convenience store to buy a pop. Got the pop, rode back to the park to finish lunch....and just sort of instinctively reached down to check my wallet, and it was gone. Had over $800 in it.

The adrenaline was running through me like lightning bolts.

Rode back to the station, thinking I may have left the wallet on the counter, and ended up being scolded by the old middle eastern dude behind the register for being so foolish with my money. "What are you doing carrying such large amounts of money around?" he demanded.

He claimed that some other customer found it laying out by the driveway, and turned it in. All money accounted for.

I once found a wallet with $325. in it at a bus station. I took it to the person at the ticket area. They made an announcement but nobody came. They told me to come back at the end of the day and they'd let me keep it if nobody came looking for it. The person probably got on a bus and never knew where they left it.

Technology has helped this thread out. I don't have to worry about my wallet or keys anymore since AirTags came out.

That's strange, didn't the owner of the wallet have some ID in in so you could find the person. I always carried a note in my wallet with my name and phone # written on it.

I have to agree with the "old dude", carrying that amount of money around is plain foolish...unless you were on your way to pay your rent with cash?????
