Thumbs down

That would have to be Episode #117, "The Hair Brained Scheme"; IOW, the finale. I don't hate it for being the last episode produced, but rather for the fact that Oliver says the word "s*x" (hint: it isn't an instrument or a number!), which I find rather X-rated. (This doesn't take into account the fact that Oliver was less than ten years of age at the time--what kind of precedent does that set for our children???)

My favorite is "Amateur Night". Nick at Nite
extended that episode with "The Brady Kids At The Hollywood Bowl". Anyway, the songs in that
episode were good. My fave scene is when they sung "It's A Sunshine Day". Jackie Mills is proud of them beating The Partridges on Friday Nights on ABC.

My least favorite is Bobby's Hero because they make such a big deal about Bobby's obsession for Jessie James. It's real corny given todays culture.

Another lame one was aired last night, "Peter and the Wolf". It has its funny moments, but the idea that a business contact from South America would cancel negotiations with Mike after seeing teenagers showing affection in a pizza parlor is plain silly.

YOur right about the unrealistic premise that Mike's business prospect would kill the deal after seeing Greg and Peter at the Pizza parlor. However, that wasn't the only one during the show's run. Others:

Mike and Carol not only not pressing charges against Vincent Price's character in Hawaii, but actually doing a tribute to him at the luau...

Mike going to the extreme of renting a trampoline to help Bobby get over his fear of heights...

ALL of the kids covering up for Peter after he broke the vase. I can see Greg and maybe Bobby, but the girls would never have done anything like that, especially without telling each other...

But the worst one has to be the entire charade they put on to show Alice how much they needed her. Mike actually ruined his tuxedo. That one was completely ridiculous!

Those were unrealistic episodes, but that bwas just part of the shows charm. I just didn't really love the episodes with Oliver.

Here's mine.
Grand Canyon ep where prospector Zecheriah (or Z something) is in. There were no gold rushes in Bradyland! Here's the breakdown of what's wrong with it:

A: The Brady's were prosperous; why would they stop at a ghost town. Also "soap opera time" raises this point:

B: Did they have gold rushes in the 70s? Only the Rainman (Dustin Hoffman) would have fallen for that one. I can hear him now:

"Oh oh V E R N, there's a old bearded guy with a pan of gold named Zechariah driving Mr. Brady's station wagon!"

Very cheesy, but it gets worse:

C: The WHOLE family lets the prospector lead them into the jail. Duh, couldn't the adults have stayed outside while the kids looked inside?

D: Obvious slapstick; True Brady fans AVOID. To get out the Brady's get this:

Throw Shoes at the key on the peg! And pull the pocketbook on top of the key with socks strung together!

E: The prospector drives the Brady wheels. Can 1800's Gold Rushers drive 1970's station wagons? Not

Overall this series is decent though; just ignore the prospector or make fun of him.

LAST NIGHT I SAW WHAT HAS TO BE THE DUMBEST EPISODE; IN FACT, IT SEEMS ALL THOSE "POST-OLIVER" SHOWS ARE REALLY STUPID...

THE EPISODE WHERE PETER HAS A "DOUBLE"-SOMEONE FROM SCHOOL WHO LOOKS JUST LIKE HIM-IS SO DUMB. THE CINEMATOGRAPHY IS REALLY BAD (IN THE "SPLIT-SCREEN"(?) IMAGING TECHNOLOGY, THE "TWO PETERS" ARE NOT EVEN LOOKING AT EACH OTHER-IT'S AS IF THEY ARE STARING OUT IN SPACE).

IN ADDITION, THE JUXTAPOSITION OF THE NON-PETER CHARACTER WITH THE REST OF THE BRADY FAMILY IS AWKWARD.

WHEN THE BRADY BUNCH STARTED RESORTING TO DREAM SEQUENCES, SPACECRAFT INVASIONS, DOUBLING OF CHARACTERS (ALWAYS A WEAK SITCOM PLOY), AND THE ADDITION OF REDUNDANT CAST MEMBERS (I.E., o l i v e r), WE KNOW THAT THE SHOW IS HEADED TOWARD A DOWNWARD SPIRAL...THE SHOW DIVERTS FROM ITS ORIGINAL CONCEPT...

ANY OTHERS AGREE WITH ME?????????

The one where Bobby is safety monitor was pretty annoying.

I agree with "Jeff of NC" The one with the ghost town where they wind up in jail was my least fave.
