Default House

Supposed to drop on November16th. Omar Epps is in it and I've been a fan of his since way back when he was in the movie Juice.

The reviews for the show have been really good.

“Primetime’s newest medical show might already be one of its best.”

“This is our kind of TV drama.”

PEOPLE (11/22), Terry Kelleher
3 stars (out of 4)
“Armed by creator-writer David Shore with an endless supply of sarcasm, Laurie gives a brilliant, fully committed performance.”

“…HOUSE stands out on the strength of its misanthropic main character…”

TV GUIDE (11/14), Matt Roush
“…Hugh Laurie is marvelous as House, with a piercing gaze and an ironic manner that makes his wry misanthropy a joy, not a chore, to behold.”

judging from the first episode it looks like this show has some legs. Solid cast and an intersting story line.

If I had to compare it to other medical shows I'd say it stacks up well ,grant it this was only the first episode so I'll have to see how they devlop it. I think I would say it's similar to CSI with the difference being that if focuses on medical mysteries and not criminal mysteries. The characters seem normal ,but the main guy Dr House is a bit of a smart a$$ ,but it fits. No tattoed chicks running around or bizzare behavioral doctors, but I thought it was funny the main Dr. seems to have an addiction to pain killers because he has a bum leg. So far I like it.

The premiere was good. I don't want to say it's better then any of the other shows yet because it's only been on for one week, but it was good and I liked it so I'll watch it again.

Hugh Laurie is a British actor who has appeared in numerous films and series across the pond. Here is his info from the IMDB.

I just caught onto House from a friend of mine who would quote it endlessly. After seeing the most recent episode I can't believe I missed all the ones before. I'm determined to catch the rest of the season. I should hav know better, Hugh Laurie makes it great.

I'm definitely getting into it now. That last episode really secured it for me. It's such a weird show to watch. House is such a cocky bastard in the face of all this stress and all these people on his case. In the mean time these kids keep seizing and he's making jokes. What a weird and cool show, not like any other hospital drama. I hope tonights new episode is good.

I've only seen a few episodes but I like it. I especially liked last weeks show where he had to go to court for reviving the patient who had signed a DNR. I might watch the rest of the episodes this season. I usually don't watch any new shows on FOX but airing after AI now this show might be a keeper.

I really liked the teaser for House that was aired during the superbowl. I've only caught the show a few times, but it seems they are really stepping it up. I really want to see this new episode on tuesday. Good call it being on after Idol.
