There are no words to describe how thrilled I am. My husband has waited his entire life for this, over 50 years as a loyal fan. Congratulations to the Red Sox!! You've done us proud!

Excuse me, like Yankees fans are any better? Although the death of a fan was totally inexcusble, uncalled for, and not to mention devestating, all Sox fans aren't crazy like that. Just let us celebrate- this is definitely something to celebrate about! Good God.

Well, I for one, am extremely elated to see the curse finally come to an end!!! And what a way to break it! I am not from the Boston area, but I have always been a fan, and there is no other team I would have wanted more to win the World Series!

This seemed to be too easy for us.. way to go!

Like I was telling my Dad watching it though.. for the WS I just wasnt as excited as to when they were playing the Yankees. For one thing I dont even know who the Cardinals are

, and with the Yankees.. there was such a feud going on between the teams and fans it just made the games better between the two. When we won the WS (finally) I was so happy, but when we beat the Yankees I was on Cloud 9. Either way though.. its about time!! Now I have to buy 74832 newspapers tomorrow

I too though am concerned about the people in Boston and the riots that will most likely happen. Im sure the police is taking extra precaution though.

Both my parents are taking credit for breaking the curse. My mom went into a subshop back in July wearing a Yankees shirt (because shes all.. 'ITS PATRIOTIC!' LOl) and the owner asked to burn it lol. My Dad from game 4 against the Yankees had a beer and popcorn. He said that by sticking to that each game, theyll win lol.

CONGRATS SOX!!!!!

Thanks Brian. Yes, the pressure is off for him now. I asked him about watching the infamous Bill Buckner play, and he said he'll still never watch it.
