Home Improvement
Next/New Season
Next/New Episodes
1999-2000
(starting with 205)

Episode 205: Moving To Indiana:
The Taylor family moves into their new big Indiana home. Tim realizes his new garage is 10 feet larger than his old garage, and is suddenly happy. Mark meets his 15 year old neighbor, Mandy Genrich (Ashlee Simpson).

Episode 206: Beginning Days of Hell:
Mark starts out his freshman year in high school. Mark soon learns his new classmates are harsher than his former classmates, at least before Mandy gets involved. Mandy takes Mark under her wing and shows him around school (and town) and the dos and donts. Tim applies and gets hired at the local hardware store. Brad looks into the local colleges in Indiana, and is dissatisfied. Brad decides to take a year off, before going to college, in order to get enough money to pay for UCLA.

Episode 207: Another Son:
Randy comes back from Costa Rica. Randy is upset that his family left Detriot without consulting him first. Tim and Jill try to enroll Randy in Mark's new high school as a senior. Randy learns that his longtime girlfriend, Lauren left Detriot (with her parents's permission) and is moving in with the Taylors in Indiana.

Episode 208: Unsure Of Situation:
Tim and Jill are unsure of how to approach the situation about Lauren moving in with them. After hours and hours of debating, they decide Lauren can move in as long as Randy and Lauren agree not to take advantage of the new living arrangements. Brad has trouble finding a good-paying job.

Episode 209: Big School Dance:
Randy and Lauren attend their new school's homecoming dance. Randy becomes uncomfortable with Lauren being hit on by the other guys at the dance. Meanwhile, Mandy and Mark go to the dance together. Mandy and Mark have a great time and end the night with a good-night kiss. Brad feels lonely, and attempts to seek new friends.

Episode 210: Parental Fights:
Tim and Jill get into a big fight when Tim must work on Jill's birthday. Brad, Randy, and Mark are sick of listening to Tim and Jill's fighting, and decide to leave the house and let the married couple have the whole house to argue within.

Episode 211: Making New Waves:
Brad lets Lauren and Randy introduce him to some potential girlfriends of his. Brad falls for Caitlin (Marne Patterson), a new friend of Lauren's. Brad, Caitlin, Randy, and Lauren plan a double date, but can't work out a date that fits in everyone's schedule. Mandy feels ignored with Mark thinking about joining a band with some new friends of his.

Episode 212: Terribly Bad News:
Tim receives a letter from Detriot from Wilson's niece, Willow. Tim suddenly learns that Wilson has had an heart attack and has died. Tim tells the family, and the family and Lauren try to get to Detriot in time for Wilson's funeral.

Episode 213: Any Regrets?:
Tim suddenly regrets moving to Detriot. Jill secretly learns she is getting an increase in pay, but doesn't know when her boss will let her know. Brad thinks Caitlin is getting back together with her ex-boyfriend. Randy and Lauren talk about marriage. Mandy attempts to back off from Mark, after Mark forgets to walk with her after school.

Episode 214: Deepest Concern:
Jill overhears Randy and Brad talking, and is not sure which out of the two brothers are having sex with their girlfriend. Jill, without telling Tim, decides to find out some more information secretly. Mark learns Mandy is mad at him, Mark attempts to make Mandy forgive him.

Episode 215: No Thanks In Thanksgiving:
Tim's mom, Lucielle, and Jill's mom, Lillian, both arrive for Thanksgiving. Jill lets her mom and Tim's mom cook the meal, but ends up helping out after feeling useless. Mark asks Tim if he can spend Thanksgiving with Mandy and her family in Vermont. After Tim says no, Mark sneaks off anyways. Mark returns a few days later to the wrath of Tim and Jill. Lauren ends up missing her family during Thanksgiving, and ends up giving her family back in Detriot a call.

Episode 216: Buyers Beware:
Tim and Jill learn their old house in Detriot is looking into being sold within a matter of weeks. Tim and Jill decide to go back to Michigan to meet the potential buyers-snotty, yuppies who aren't satisfied with how the structure of the house is, but wants the land. Tim refuses to sell it to them. Meanwhile, the boys decide to throw a party at their new house. Mark has way too much to drink, and passes out upstairs in his bedroom. Also, a drunken Caitlin finds her way upstairs and decides to seduce a drunken Mark. An hour later, Brad and Mandy both walk in on Caitlin seducing Mark on Mark's bed, and are furious.

Episode 217: Together Anymore?:
An upset Mandy refuses to talk with Mark, Mark attempts to apologize to Mandy and Brad. Brad is furious with Mark and Caitlin. Lauren steps in, after having a conversation with Caitlin. Lauren tells Brad that Caitlin confessed to starting it all. Brad eventually forgives Mark, but not Caitlin. After calling it quits with Caitlin, Brad decides to help Lauren, and Randy get Mandy back together with Mark.

Episode 218: What Lies?:
Mandy and Mark get back together, but take things slower than before. Meanwhile, Lauren learns Randy is lying to his parents about his homework being done, before he can go out and have fun. Lauren acts as "mom" and makes sure Randy does his homework, but Lauren and Randy get into a little fight about trust.

Episode 219: Life's Tough, Get A Job:
Brad learns he has no health insurance without being a student living at home and being unemployed. Brad becomes eager to find a job after the flu gets around the Taylor home (and strikes Tim, Mark, and Lauren). Randy must write an essay on different cultures being similair and different, but can't help but have writer's block.

Episode 220: Back To Detriot, We Go:
The Taylor family, Lauren, and Mandy head to Detriot. Tim and Jill think about selling their former home to another couple: Kevin and Jodie Olsen (Tim Daly, Crystal Bernard). They also learn Marty and his ex, Nancy are getting back together. They also learn Al and Trudy are expecting their first child in 5 months.
