Default Outrageous fears

What are some of the outrageous and unexplainable fears you have? Now I dont mean water, bees, heights, etc.. Im talking about getting attacked by a lion, having the roof of your house cave in, or getting your toe stuck in the tub drain. Things that just dont happen everyday, but its still a weird fear you have.

For some reason, Ive always been afraid of my eyes falling out of my sockets. I think that if I rub my eyes too hard or am trying to get an eyelash out and the lid is open too much, that the eye is just gonna like.. pop out on the floor. Its weird but it freaks me out.

That my kitten will die. I mean, okay, so it's not outrageous, but she's only 5 months old and in ideal health. I guess I'm just a major pessimist.

Why should I divide what feels so right?
Is this where I want to lay?

Oh Im like that too! At night time, I have this fear that, if Im standing in front of a window Ill get shot.. like if someone drives by or something. Its weird. I also have this inexplainable fear of mirrors and reflections in the dark. I avoid looking into them if its not bright in the room. I fear that if I look in them when its dark Ill see something I dont want to see.

I don't have this fear anymore, but I did for a while in 7th grade. I used to take this route to school where we had to drive on a gravel road...Um, yeah. There were no stop or yield signs or anything like that on the gravel road we took - we would go on a four-way intersection and then turn the corner. Every day when I went to school that fall, I was always scared every time we turned the corner. I also had a bad feeling every time...It stuck w/ me the entire fall and just right before winter started. Finally, that December, there was a fatal car accident on that corner where we drove on. Two cars were approaching the intersection, one southbound and another westbound. Neither slowed down when they got to the corner...One of the drivers was seriously injured and the other was killed on impact. After that happened, they put up two yield signs at the corner, and then I stopped being so scared.

I'm dead afraid of a bridge collapsing while I'm on it.

I have nightmares like that every so often. Not always are they trying to shoot me but someone is threatening my life. They're breaking into my bedrooom window. I wake myself up struggling to shout at them or hit them but I can't get my body to cooperate with my emotions, because I'm dreaming. It's a horrible nightmare that I have lived through over and over in various ways for years now. Strange. I don't get it.

Oh God. Where to begin?

Let's see.

- If I'm in the bathroom, and the shower curtain is closed, I have to leave the room. I cannot have it closed. I can't even open it. I just leave.
- I'm ALWAYS afraid I'm going to get in trouble. ALWAYS. Even for just... walking. Seriously, I'll be in school, and I'll walk to the desk, and I'm afraid I'm gonna get in trouble.
- The whole bridge collapsing thing.
- That my house is going to catch on fire while I'm sleeping. That actually did happen once, but it was raining - praise the lord and pass the ammunition.
- I'm scared that someone is going to break into my room. Which is ... ugh, I guess I figure cos the second floor is harder to get into, they'll do it. Or something.

I don't even feel like going on anymore.

i have a lot of fears, so much it's partly why i hate living. i basically never feel safe.

my house burning down. i'm so scared of that happening i have a big bag of stuff i could never replace like my moms bible in my closet so i can grab it and throw it out my window in case it does.

standing on a bridge or balcony, i can't help but worry about it collapsing.

looking in the mirror and thinking i'm gonna see something that's not there. mirrors scare the hell out of me. this story on beyond belief that was true.. my eyes get all teary when i think about how scared i'd be.

there's a lot more.. but most of all i can't be in the dark by myself. it takes me EVERYTHING i have to go outside, just in my yard, for not even 30 seconds at night alone. when i go to the kitchen or something at night i keep turning on lights on my way there and turn them off if i go back. a lot of times when i'm in a room by myself, usually at night, i get a feeling something bad is gonna happen and i run out of the room. i'm probably most scared of the bathroom because there's no windows. seriously, whenever i accidently turn off the light i start breathing harder and frantically feel around for the light switch. oh god there's so much more. i don't even want a house to myself. for one thing i would seriously panic if the power went out at night.

I'm afraid of a few kinds of weeds, especially one called "Sowthistle."

When I used to live in an apartment with my mom I was afraid of being alone in the apartment with the door unlocked. I would lock the door when she would leave even if it just for a few minutes to take out the garbage or go to the car. It was almost like I was paranoid that someone would come and shoot me or something.

I also freak out when I see a maplebug. I know they're harmless creatures, but I freak out just the same.

Also, being stared at. Doesn't matter whether I'm stared at by strangers, family, friends, or just acquaintances. I know logically, I shouldn't be concerned because usually people don't know why they stare, they just do, but it still makes me uncomfortable. I automatically think something must be very wrong. I'm paranoid that way.
