Siblings and children of the Golden Girls

Put your memory caps on for this. Try to remember all of the children and siblings that were either mentioned or seen at some time that were related to the 4 girls.

CHILDREN -

*Sophia and Sal had 3 kids - Dorothy, Gloria and Phil.

*Dorothy and Stan had 2 kids - Kate and Michael.

*Rose and Charlie had ??? kids. - Kiersten, Bridgette, Janella, and didn't she mention a son named Adam? Others?

(Kiersten was in 2 episodes and Bridgette was in 1.)

*Blanche and George had ??? kids - Janet, Skippy, Ben? Others?

(Janet was mentioned often and was on one episode. Skippy and Ben were mentioned when Blanche offered Dorothy one of her sons for keeping quiet about Baby the pig.)


SIBLINGS -

*Sophia had Angela and Angelo. Weren't there are other siblings mentioned?

*Dorothy had Phil and Gloria.

*Rose had sisters Holly and the blind sister (forgot her name). In an early episode, Dorothy mentioned that Rose had 6 brothers.

*Blanche had sisters Charmane and Virginia and brother Clayton.

Anyone I'm forgetting?

Blanche had a daughter named Rebecca. And didn't she once mention having a son named Matthew?

Blanches' son Matthew was mentioned in the episode George Clooney was in. That was the episode where the new neighbours were jewel thiefs.

In the babysitting the pig episode, Blanche mentioned 3 sons. Can never remember 2 of their names, only Skippy.

In the mother's day episode, Rose is waiting for a call from her son Charley Jr.

There were 2 versions of Rebecca. The overweight one, and the one who had a baby by articial insemination. The overweight one appeared once, the other one appeared 3 times.

The Golden Girls flew so fast and loose with continuity it's hard to keep track, but from what I can remember:

Dorothy:
Children: Kate and Michael
Siblings: Phil and Gloria

Rose:
Children: Kirsten, Bridgette, Janella, Adam, Charley Jr.
Siblings: Holly, and Lily(I think that's what her name was...the one played by Polly Holiday). Several brothers, though I don't know that any were ever mentioned by name

Blanche:
Children: Janet, Rebecca, Skippy, Ben, Matthew
Siblings: Charmaine, Virginia, Clayton, and if you count The Golden Palace, the mentally ******** brother. I forget his name.

Sophia:
Children: Dorothy, Gloria, Phil
Siblings: Angela(mentioned in the episodes she was in as being Sophia's only living sibling left), and Angelo(mentioned in his first episode as being Sophia's only living relative.)
she mentions in one episode she shared a bed with 3 of her brothers growing up, and a couple more Aunts were mentioned by either Dorothy or Sophia throughout the years, though never seen.

Now for the real challenge, Grandchildren. We know Dorothy mentions that she and Stan share Grandchildren together, but we don't know who they belong too. Michael's wife says she's pregnant, but then she leaves him in one episode and we never hear about that situation again.
Sophia has Michael and Kate, Gloria was never mentioned as having any kids, and Phil was mentioned as having several.
Blanche had Janet's son that appeared in the first season, but then Janet had a very young daughter in the 7th season. And wasn't it also Janet's daughter who appeared in one where Blanche put her in a beauty pageant?
Rose has the grandaughter named Charley, I think she's Kirsten's daughter. Not real sure. I can't remember if any others are ever mentioned.

just to note the inconsistency mentioned in the families, in the episode where rose gets left the pig and the girls get money grubby, blanche buys a mercedes. when dorothy wants to confess to rose the truth about why they want the pig there, blanche stops her in the kitchen and says, "I'll give you one of my sons...I've never had a mercedes..which one do you want?...Biff, Doug, Skippy..no, dont take Skippy, he's got asthma"...

so there is a great inconsistency there..cause matthew is definitely mentioned later in the clooney episode...ai, yi yi!
