What's so bad about the GUB book haveing so many mistakes? I mean, it's about peoples memories, and not about "The Brady Bunch" show but about the time people spent on the Brady soundstage. I think the reason you should buy this book because you get to see this through the eyes of "Greg", and not for a guide to "The Brady Bunch"
------------------ ALF: As Barry as my witness, I'll never go hungry again! Mr. Kotter: Thinking is very important. Where would George Washington be if he didn't think? Or Thomas Jefferson or Henry Gerani? Washington: I never heard of Henry Gerani! Mr. Kotter: That's becuase he didn't think! |

For one thing Sean, Mr. Williams wrongly gives credit (in the ep guide) where none is due. He credits Eric Shea with being on the Odd Couple and providing the voice of Linus in the Peanuts cartoons. Eric did neither. Christopher Shea did.
Also, the book's misinformation looks unforgivable when you realize how readily available for study all the Brady episodes were. The show being so popular and it being the VCR age he wrote it in. |
