Exclamation What is the name of Jan's Imaginary Boyfriend?

I want to say it was Phillip Glass, but that's the composer. It's driving me crazy!

Hi Tracy -

No, George wasn't real...at the end of that episode, at Jan's surprise party, another boy hits on her and she's happy as a clam... I can't remember if it's the same kid who plays Clark Tyson...and when Mike and Carol ask her "But Jan, what about George?", Jan replies that she's given George up...and, as she put it, "to me, he doesn't even EXIST any more!"

I love it when Jan is trying to think up a name for the imaginary boyfriend, and the camera pans to a glass of orange juice on the table. "It's George...George Glass". In one of the movies, they repeat this scene, but Jan says instead, "It's George...George Tropicana."

That ep was very uneven (how the hell would Greg search the entire part of town for a kid named George Glass). In his utterly lousy and mistake filled Growing Up Brady book, Barry Wlliams should have mentioned how uneven that ep wa. I don't think he did.

Never underestimate the great Greg Brady -- he has powers beyond mere mortals.

BTW, the scene where Mike stages that home movie of Jan, so she can show off her femininity in front of Clark, makes me cringe.

Cool

TV guy - I'm sure you're not the only one who cringes when you see that scene...I wonder what Eve Plumb thinks if and when she ever sees it?

However, it must be acknowledged that, as Clark Tyson said, She did "make a great looking girl"

She sure did.

The other really cringe-inducing scene I remember from the show is the one where Marcia gets braces and has the date with Alan Anthony. He's waiting for her at the bottom of the stairs, and as she descends, the rest of the family is on the couch watching. Then, as Marcia and Alan move towards the door, the family (still on the couch), turns around and stares at them. Really weird.
