Should Joey be moved? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Now that it is obvious that CBS is the clear cut winner on Thursday nights, do you think Joey should be moved to a much weaker night on the schedule? Tuesday perhaps? Also keep in mind, FOX's hit drama the OC has yet to debut on Thursdays because of postseason baseball. So you can expect even more competition for Joey.

Hmmm I say no, I say give it time to build more viewers in this timeslot(I say it will still happen).

No, because the Thursday 8pm slot is the time when the show has the most chance of succeeding. We just have to give it a little time to catch an audience.

i voted yes because cbs seemes to be the clear winner on thu. and joey is too good a show to last only one season

I agree.
Nothing will do better than Joey/Will & Grace at the 8PM hour.

I wonder how well it will do when Survivor isn't airing.

I agree as well. If Joey and Will & Grace cannot make it... well, what can? Nothing NBC has right now, that is for sure.

I don't think they should move.

People need a sitcom on Thursday, and if this reality trend destroys it, I'm turning on Law & Order for the 1,000,000 time.

CSI and Without a Trace, and ER- I can't watch this stuff- though people swear it is great TV.

And The Apprentice and Survivor and all that garbage?

Refer to the garbage comment.
