Smile "The Brady Bunch vs. The Partridge Family"

Is it lucky that "The Brady Bunch" is better than "The Partridge Family"? Here are my faves:

Favorite Brady Actor: Chris Knight or Michael
Lookinland

Favorite Brady Actress: Eve Plumb and Maureen McCormick

Favorite Brady Songs: "Time To Change", "It's A Sunshine Day",and "Gonna Find A Rainbow"

Favorite Brady Episode: "Eenie Meenie Mommy Daddy"

Favorite "Brady" Guest Star: David Jones of "The Monkees"

What are your favorites? Tell me why,and also tell me why "The Brady Bunch" beat "The Partridge Family".

Here's something else I found out: the writers and directors that did the "Brady" episodes also was responsible for "The Partridge Family". Examples: Martin A. Ragaway who directed some episodes, helped with another director: Peter Baldwin on a "Partridge" episode called "The Sound Of Money". Ragaway written the script.

Another thing I found out is that both shows filmed their episodes on location at King's Island in Cincinatti,Ohio. The Bradys did "The Cincinatti Kids",while The Partridges did "I Left My Heart In Cincinatti".(Is there a theme going on here?)

That's all I know about The Bradys and The Partridges.

A note to EVERYBODY -

If you EVER notice that Comedy Central is re-running Sat.Night Live with Susan Dey as the host, MAKE SURE YOU WATCH THAT EPISODE. They do a hilarious skit where the Partridge Family is rehearsing in their garage, and Jan Brady walks in on them and finds out they're lip-synching. She summons the other Bradys and they engage in a "Battle of the Bands". Classic TV. Can't remember who played everybody, but Dana Carvey was David Cassidy; Susan Dey played herself, of course; Kevin Nealon played Greg, Melanie Hutsel (sp?) played Jan, of course; Victoria Jackson played Cindy, I think Adam Sandler or somebody played Peter...it was great!

Susan Dey (to the Brady's): You treat Alice like crap...you don't even let her eat DINNER with you!

V.Jackson(Cindy): That's not true, we LOVE Alith!

Best SNL parody EVER!!

Oh yeah, the Brady's are FAR SUPERIOR BEINGS to the Partridges.

Greg vs. Keith - Greg wins...he could play ball (Warren Mulaney only beat him out for first team by buttering up the coach) AND sing AND play guitar, Keith was a wuss.

Laurie vs. Jan and Marcia...J&M, easily.. all of them turned out to be gorgeous, but since there were 2 Bradys, and only 1 Partridge...

The younger Kids... Bobby and Cindy were way cooler than the Partridge little kids (I forget their names)...the little kids on the P Family were totally useless.

Danny vs. Peter - close, but Peter wins...he was friends with Deacon Jones, he had a look-a like friend named Arthur, and he dated cooler chicks (e.g. Kerry Hathaway, va va va vooom!).

Parents - Mr. and Mrs. Brady were cooler than Mrs. Partridge...and Mrs. Brady could sing too, when she didn't have laryngitis...and I HATE both Rueben Kincaid and the guy who played him.

I used to love them both the same but since the awful, mistake filled Growing Up Brady book by Barry Williams the Brady Bunch has lost some of it's appeal for me.
