Post I Still put Music on Casettes

Many of you may think I'm an old fuddy-duddy, but for kicks, I still like to make my own music compliations and put them on casettes. Some have actual themes, others don't. Two tapes I have involve different songs with the same titles, and for my latest addition, I've been cosnidering adding a Christy Carlson Romano song behind a Midnight Oil song. Well as it turns out, I couldn't do it, because the Midnight Oil song is called "Surf's Up," and the CCR song that I thought was titled "Surf's Up"(partially because it was used in an Even Stevens episode of that title) was actually titled "Dawn Patrol."

Oh, well. I guess I'll have to add something else there instead.

Hi! I am ashamed to admit that I still don't own a CD player. I still use cassettes. I have so many that I don't see the point in switching! The same goes for DVD's. I still use VHS! I have over a 100 of them and I don't intend to throw them out! Oh well, ................................. I don't accept change very well! That is a very large trait of us Taurus's. We hate change!

Well, I do have a CD & DVD player. I just don't record onto either one, although I think I should. But I also record off of CD's, LP's and 45's. If I had the equipment, I'd record off of 8-tracks and reel-to-reel tapes as well. And I have a tape deck in my car too, but it's broken.

I have a cassette deck and I sometime use cassettes to record off the radio or if it's a great idea that I can converting into a CD from cassettes, LP's, 8-tracks, etc. I'm sure I do. I got rid most of the cassettes that I own because my mother told me that I got too much in my collection. That's sad. I can make CD's.

I don't use cassettes much anymore. I never really had very many of them to begin with. I got my first CD player in 1988 and have been collecting CDs ever since.

Ah, but do you record CD's as well? That's the question.

Wooo, I think I have some Barney sing-a-long cassettes. Sweet.

I was afraid of those things, the tape in it would get screwed up. I remember once we had a Lea Ann (sp?) Rimes tape in at my cousins and it sounded like a man was singing because it got screwed up.

And in the future...we'll shove these glowing things in our ears to listen to music People will be deaf before their 18th birthdays.

I remember when I was 12 I did all my favorite songs on one tape and organized it the order I liked it. My tape player doesn't work anymore though.

I don't think I've used a cassette since 1992 or a VHS since 1997.

I still use cassettes! I have store-bought cassette albums, plus several vinyl records I've transferred to cassette - and CD's I've taped so I can listen to them on the cassette deck in my car! (A car CD player was much too expensive for me!)

I still record my CD's onto cassette. Mainly just to listen to songs in the car because my cars (or my parents cars) have cassette players, not CD players. Or else just to make mix tapes... until recently because my new computer has a CD burner!
