This thread is for the Niles and Daphne fans out there!

If you want to write an "Alternate Ending" or "Deleted Scene" for a Niles and Daphne episode, this is the thread for you!

A Midwinter Night's Dream (Alternate Ending & Deleted Scene)

The Scene starts off with:

Daphne: Oh my, there goes the electricity. What do we do now?

Niles puts a finger to his lips very seriously, as if he's thinking about his lifelong dream.

[Alternate Deleted Scene]

Daphne: Dr. Crane.

Niles: Yes. Daphne.

Daphne: Would you mind if I got out of these wet clothes, now?

Niles: Uh... (moves forward, knocking the table with his foot, causing the glockenspiel to nearly fall over) Oh!

Daphne: Are you alright, Dr. Crane.

Niles: Well, um, oh...I'll light some candles. You go upstairs and help yourself to Maris' clothes.

Daphne: Thank you, Dr. Crane. Do you mind if I use your phone to call your brother?

Niles: Of course not.

Daphne picks up the phone to dial.

Daphne: (looks at Niles) The phone is dead.

Niles: That's impossible, Maris just called... (Daphne hands him the phone) Well, I suppose you can stay here for the night. (hangs up the phone)

Daphne: Are you sure?

Niles: I'll be all alone in this big empty house, I could use the company.

Daphne: (hugs Niles) I'll go find something to wear.

[End of Deleted Scene]

*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~

Scene starts off with:

Daphne: It's just so nice to be with a man you feel so comfortable with. I feel very close to you.

Niles: I feel very close to you too, Daphne. You know it's easy being someone you feel close to, when you feel close to someone... who's so close.

[Alternate Ending]

Niles leans down and kisses Daphne on her bee stung lips. Daphne surprisingly kisses him back, giving Niles a satisfying stance.

Daphne: Dr. Crane.

Niles: (raises his right eye brow) Daphne.

Daphne: (sits up) I don't know what came over me. I'm sorry.

Niles: Don't be.

Daphne: You're being kind enough to let me spend the night here
and I make things...

Niles: Perfect.

Niles leans over to kiss her and Daphne shows no restraint. She falls back onto the table, forcing the glockenspiel to get knocked on the floor. Niles and Daphne don't seem to care about the many breakable possessions that met the wood floor on that dark stormy night.

[Conintued from "Alternative Scene" to Ending]

Niles and Daphne sit on the love seat and snuggle close, embrassing each other.

Daphne: (looking at the fireplace, then at Niles) The fire's still burning.

Niles: (looks into her eyes) It never stopped.

Daphne: (burying her face into his chest) I'm glad we ended up like this, Dr. Crane.

Niles: You can call me Niles.

Daphne: Ok...Niles.

Niles: Daphne?

Daphne: Yes, Niles? (smiles)

Niles: I love you.

Daphne: (kisses him gently on the lips) I love you, too...Niles.

Niles and Daphne stare into the fire with sparkling eyes of happiness.

The End

Awwwwwww.

Pity you didn't mention the glockenspiel in that last one though, like you did in the other two.

I probably should have mentioned that the last scene was the "tag" from the "alternative scene" above it.
