During the first season and a little into the second, the kitchen wasn't shown. The table and chairs was in the living room and the sofa was against the wall near the door.

I really didn't realize that it wasn"t shown, but in The return of the Barracuda (season 1)the kitchen is shown remember Donna ran in there and Fred followed after Lamont yelled at her. Thats the only one i can remember

Yeah, during the first shows of season 1, the kitchen isn't shown at all. In fact, the wall behind the liquor cabinet has a WINDOW with a view OUTSIDE. This would later become the wall seperating the living room and kitchen and instead of a window there is a bookcase. Kind of interesting how they changed that . . .

I think the first time the kitchen is shown IS in "The Return Of the Barracuda".

"The Return Of the Barracuda" is the first episode that shows the kitchen , i watched all of them to see.
